Unacceptable Billing Errors by Tomato Energy

I am deeply frustrated with Tomato Energy's billing accuracy. My July 2025 bill for the period of 1 June 2025 to 30 June 2025 was calculated using an estimated meter reading, despite my submission of actual meter readings on 29 June 2025 and 30 June 2025. This resulted in a discrepancy of 158 kWh. For context, my usage last month was less than 100 kWh, making the estimate over 1.5 times my typical consumption.This inaccurate estimate has led to a potentially inflated bill, which is completely unacceptable. I urge Tomato Energy to correct the bill using my submitted readings and overhaul their billing process to prevent such errors. This experience has completely eroded my trust in their service, and I highly NOT recommend Tomato Energy as a service provider. Once my contract term ends, I will switch to another provider and advise all my friends to avoid using Tomato Energy.

All great so far

All great so far, effortless switch followed by a courtesy call to check in and take me through the online portal etc! Absolutely no complaints from me and making big savings already running my EV and air source heating!

Have recently switched from British Gas…

Have recently switched from British Gas to tomato as I have recently purchased an EV, switch over went without issue on the day stated. Everything looks great so far with mywatts webpage, showing usage and cost, have not had first bill, so not sure yet, whether this is a five star company, but looks good so far.

Received a call from Heather at Tomatoe…

Received a call from Heather at Tomatoe Energy today. I changed over to them on 03/01/25 to see if I could get my high electric bills reduced as we are all electric. Heather was very helpful. Gave me the portal website to check what I was using. I also have the times of when vest to use electricity. Hopefully if my bills are reduced I will continue with Tomato Energy. Thank you Heather for your call and useful information.

Tomato Energy Here We Come

A government enery surveyor advised me to contact Tomato Energy and save money and it would appear, it was good advise. Pargat was extremely helpful and patient and provided me with all the information I needed, in order to make some considerable savings on my electric bills both night and day. Yet to see the results as only just transferred my supplier but I do feel confident.
