Edit 07/01/2025 Within hours of posting my review, I was contacted by a man from TJ O'Mahony's and by the end of our conversation, I'm convinced the same man would have travelled to Cork and painted my door himself. He was incredibly honest and explained that the item was, quite literally, not picked up for delivery sooner because the tin hadn't been seen (it was tiny). He was very apologetic, very decent and not only did I receive my paint that same day, I was also refunded the entire cost. I didn't expect this, and he told me it was the least they could do. I genuinely couldn't have been treated any better and the paint itself was definitely worth the wait. The front door has never looked better. I would have no hesitation shopping here again :) Bought a tin of paint (2.5ltr) online on the 29th November. Website says 1-2 working days for small items. It's now the 9th of December, I've rang several times, for at minimum, an update. Phone has NEVER been answered. I've emailed three times, have NEVER received a reply. I paid over 10 euro for delivery and it's now day 10. Absolutely appalling service. I no longer want the item in question now, but apparently there's a restocking charge?? How companies like this can trade in business is beyond me. I ordered a custom made frame from a company in Ohio and I've had it delivered since, with an actual tracking number that worked.

Recently purchased products, in-shop and online. Great advisory assistance while in the shop. I had an issue with the delivery company, and TJ O'Mahony were on the ball to sort it out for me, and keeping me in the loop until I could confirm the delivery of the product. Such a high standard in customer service, I won't even try to shop around next time I need something, my money will go to TJ !

Absolutely horrible experience! If you do buy from TJ O'mahony please be aware that they are an absolute nightmare to return your item. I purchased the water cylinder online, it was delivered to me by driver called David, from Prosperous branch. When delivery arrived, there was many dents on the cylinder. I was totally shocked by the state it was in. I asked the driver how is it possible to deliver so damaged item. He replied that he just just delivered what was given to him, basically drivers do not care about state of the products they deliver. I asked him to sign delivery docket to say item was damaged on delivery. I decided to exchange item so I went to the nearest branch that had those items in stock, which was Ladytown, Naas branch. Where I was even more shocked about 2 sales assistants that were so aggressive and not wanting to take the damaged item back and to exchange it. They even tried to put the blame about damage onto me, saying that I damaged it when bringing it back, which is clearly not true, because delivery driver was the witness that it was delivered to me with those damages. They even started poking the cylinder with their fingers, that was making further dents to the cylinder, such an unprofessional attitude from those 2 sales assistants is so unacceptable. At the end after making a phone call, eventually they exchanged the water cylinder for me. But still I was left sad and so dissapointed with my experience with TJ O'mahony that I wanted to write the review and hope to warn all of you, if you do decide to buy, go for purchasing yourself in the branches, as delivery might come damaged, because they don't care too much of the items. And hope that you don't have to experience what I did.

We took a trip to TJ O Mahonys on Tuesday to purchase decorations for our Newly Revamped Store. Catriona provided us with the most beautiful decorations in such elegant colours and exceptional quality. She was beyond helpful in our requests and with her help we have transformed the store into a festive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers to relax and enjoy. Ordered online, gave me the full product view and dimensions needed. simple process and delivery was free. Even had a call from Alan to help me with the delivery times. very nice and helpful to deal with.

All good. Ordered online for delivery, was free as I'd met the threshold. It was delivered, no troubles, the lorry driver got the heavy stuff over the hedge away from the driveway no difficulty at all.

Very easy to order great selection at great prices, delivery was excellent arrived very fast, will definitely use again.
