It basically works BUT

It basically works, which was a surprise. I got my test early using the auto-book option—but there’s one big but. The system booked the test only two hours before it was scheduled to take place. It was pure luck that I happened to be near my PC and saw the email right away. I had just enough time to get to the test center, and luckily a car was available too. Everything aligned, and I managed to pass the test—but again, it was pure luck. A two-hour notice is not what you’d typically expect.

A SCAM -- CONTACT YOUR BANK as you are never getting anywhere with them

Firstly, the fact that they say no hidden fees is misleading. I keep on getting notifications of "available" test slots when I try to access them (literally seconds after the email lands), they are magically unavailable. But you can add then priority and super priority if you want, which means paying them more than GBP 150 for a test. Secondly, they are not responsive and if you wait for their response on their timelines, they come back asking for more account information - that they should know as you are sending them an email...! - which means that you will have to wait for another 5 working days for a response. Lastly, as part of their terms is that you need to confirm with your driving instructor that they can also attend, which realistically is not feasible as the test slots disappear immediately (or they were not available at the first instance). All in all, this seems like a scam so I am contacting my bank for recovering payment and flagging the service as fraudulent. DO NOT USE

This system only offers last minute tests that are often gone even if I click the link immediately when I receive the email. I needed to use my instructors car for the test so it was 5 months before I could have 5 mins to check with the instructor (who responded immediately) and even press the “Accept” button. Then I was told that the test was cancelled anyway. I also paid for the upgrade package thinking that would help and after about a month was reverted back to the original basic package. Customer assistance is non existent. I can’t emphasize how much you should NOT give this company your money.

Scumbags!

Scumbags! Companies like Test Ultimate block book all available tests at DVSA so that there are no tests available to the public for months on end, they then charge almost FIVE TIMES what DVSA would normally charge if you were to book a test via their website with the assurances that they can secure you a test very quickly. Of course they can! because they have the monopoly at their disposal and therefore are in a position to rip off vulnerable people who are desperate to get a drivers license and spare no thought to the £100`s people end up paying to secure a test that DVSA charge a mere £62! They need to be reported to DVSA and stopped or it will be many years before booking driving tests ever returns to how they were pre-pandemic!

Amazing, would definitely recommend

I was offered 2 test date options within 24 hours of signing up. The first date was only one week away. It didn't work with my schedule so I refused the date and was offered another one (a month away) within a couple hours. I did choose the most expensive package, which I would recommend if you want a booking as soon as possible. Overall, I would definitely recommend this service!

took ages to get a test

took ages to get a test. highest package and not many offers. when you do get an offer, you have to be super quick and thats impossible. if you miss an offer, they put your search on pause for no reason and even if the offer was active for 2 minutes. but not sure what else is out there. maybe the best of the worse

The worst company

The worst company, they grab your money and you get nothing. They tell you go premium, they will look harder, you will get a text when they find you test. Rubbish. I got an email after paying premium on a Sunday eve for a Thursday test, I missed it when I emailed them why I didn't get a text as I paid premium to get texts, they said they cant text for short notice test. Don't use them. I can't reply to test ultimates reply, so I'm editing mine so I can add on. I was offered 3 tests on a Saturday one after the other, after telling them we can't do on a Saturday. I paid for premium but didn't get a text so when I went into the email which I recieved on Sunday for a test on Thursday to reply that I wanted the test I was offered it was gone. If I would have recieved a text which I paid extra for I would not have missed that test. The reason why we cancelled the Dvsa was because you were not finding us a test, so someone else managed within a couple of days. Can I write a reply to test ultimate reply. They are the biggest liars, they offered me 3 tests in total, 1 I missed because I wasn't quick enough. The other 2 were on Saturday so we couldn't take them. I did upgrade as you had advised but still got rubbish service. I am not the only one either who has had this experience. I paid someone else to get my daughter a test, they only take your money once they have a test for you. I got one within a week. Test ultimate still owe us our money for the service they didn't give.

Don't bother with these scammers who make it almost impossible!

When you spend your £120 with these scammers and they provide you with a date, a few hours later when you come back to them to confirm it (having to make arrangments with your instructor for a test), they take the slot away from you then 'pause' you account. A begging email later they reactivate it. The next time you get offered, you feel obliged to take the date, find the instructor is not available, try and cancel the slot and then are informed you are PERMANENTLY paused until you give them another £120. DON'T DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE! Disgraceful!

They are bunch of thugs

They are bunch of thugs. I booked for their service and they didn't even look at it for 7 weeks and my test expired after which they informed that the booking reference is invalid and they refused to give me the refund even though they claim to provide refund if they are unable to find the desired booking date.
