Tandem - Language Exchange

My experience with Tandem has been good overall, but I haven't been receiving many messages.

I had great experience with tandem in the past but somehow after longtime i didn't use it and just open it again i feel tandem nowaday lil bit annoying because a lot of advertisements

Tandem is an awesome platform to learn languages and interact with people from all countries in the world. In particular i love Tandem parties, where you speak directly with groups of people using your voice, or just as a listener.

Very bad moderation The purpose of the app is good, features are well coded but the staff doesn't take care about scam and disrespectful members. They even ban people for no reason. The ads are too much frequent as well

I enjoy interacting with language learners and teachers across the globe.

Very useful language learning app that allows you to communicate with native speakers worldwide. There are also additional features like group talks etc. What I also like is the support that is always there to help.

Tandem helps me a lot to develop language proficiency and to give me intercultural understanding. Tandem gives me the possibility to find language exchange partners and to communicate with them both in writing, audio and video. Tandem has fantastic users - I have only met interesting and nice people on Tandem. I do miss a few functionalities: most I miss a search function (searching in own conversations), and the possibility to be able to delete or change a message.

Want to offset some of the positive reviews that Tandem is prompting people to write via their app. They deleted my account claiming I violated their policies and when emailed for clarification, one of their reps sent an incredibly nasty message just saying there was a rule violation, and that their decision was final and I wouldn't be getting a refund. I had to contact Apple and then my credit card company for a refund for the yearly fee. Incredibly poor customer service. I have a right to know why I was banned so that I can improve my behavior or dispute the other user's claims. Does someone really deserve to be cut off from 1 million other users because they have a disagreement with 1 user? Hope this app and the company behind it goes out of business.

I don't have anything to say except that I'm so incredibly grateful for this app because being able to meet people from other parts of the world and create enduring friendships with incredible people and practice my language skills with them has literally changed my life

What a great App Tandem is. It let's me practice my German speaking with native speakers in return for me speaking English with them. I've had many interesting conversations and met some lovely people.

Tandem is great application that you can find a friend to talk easily its convenient and useful application you can talk someone from almost every country thats a big opportunity to being socialize I appreciate it

It's a great program for learning languages. People are socializing and learning languages.

well, it is a good app to find friend from other countries. i met a lot of interesting people here, its really cool
