Sehr schlecht

Obwohl ich mein Talkpalkonto gelöscht habe, haben sie trotzdem den Betrag für das Premium-Abo abgebucht. Jetzt habe ich für das Premium-Abo bezahlt, das ich nicht nutzen kann. Ich war nur auf der Website registriert und hatte keine App. Auf der Website steht, dass das Löschen des Kontos automatisch das Abo beendet. Dies ist jedoch nicht der Fall. Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich eine Antwort vom Kundenservice bekommen werde. Allerdings werde ich meine Debitkarte blockieren.

Bankdaten für kostenlosen TEST? Nein Danke! Falls es eine Möglichkeit gibt dies ohne Angaben von Daten zu tun, ist es sehr schlecht zu erkennen. Wirkt auf mich wie eine ABO FALLE. Ist nur meine Meinung. Nachtrag: Vielen Dank für Ihre Antwort. Sie haben recht ich habe die Basisversion gefunden. Für mich war es sehr unübersichtlich aber es gibt sie. Daher möchte ich Fair sein und weine Bewertung ändern.

Not ready for prime time

It is very rare that I have an experience so immensely frustrating that I cancel a service within minutes and write a scathing review. That statement alone describes my experience with the Talkpal app. I started learning to read, speak and write Thai several months ago. Thai is still VERY new to me but so far I have learned the alphabet and have a limited vocabulary of about 60 words that I can read, speak and recognize when I hear/see them. I understand that developing listening and speaking skills is very important to becoming fluent in a foreign language, so I was very excited to try this app. Unfortunately, the “beginner” setting of this app was far too advanced for me. I can only imagine the frustration of someone completely unfamiliar with Thai. For example, imagine you just got off an airplane in a foreign country and someone starts speaking to you in their native language, with no translation, and you never get any idea what the heck they just said to you. Yep, the app is like that. Talkpal’s statements were too long. I honestly can’t say whether or not the statements were too complex for a newbie because I still have no idea what the chat said. I have enough frustration in my life and I do not need to add this ridiculousness to the mix. I initially paid for a year subscription but immediately cancelled it and deleted the app. I’m not even interested in completing the free trial offer. In my opinion this app is not ready for prime time.

talkpal does not start for beginners

talkpal does not start for beginners. you ought to have some skills in the language. E. g if you want to learn a language who uses other written alphabets talkpal is not explaining or learning it to you nor there is a possibility that you can write other alphabets. Also the language is too difficult and as a beginner you got long sentences, and that means that these creators does not have any knowledge about education and learning. But if you have a good knowledge of it, it can be a good program but only for latin alphabets!

I bought this for learning Japanese

I bought this to use for learning Japanese. The software contains many errors. About 20% of the sentences are incorrect with many mispronunciations. Sometimes the English translations displayed are laughable - eg, 'there is a refrigerator in the refrigerator'. I have reported many bugs but always get fobbed off. If I got a sensible reply saying when to expect bug fixes, I'd feel more confident. The app has potential to be really helpful, but for the Japanese language at the moment, it is dire. I really hope someone can be bothered to start fixing all the problems. UPDATED After 1st August 2024 bug fix. Unfortunately, it didn't take long to find '先生はどこから来ましたか。' which is translated to English as 'Where are you from?', without mentioning 'teacher'. UPDATED 9th August More fixes, and the app seems correct the majority of the time. Still some errors, like pronouncing 辛い as the word that means bitter or tough, instead of pronouncing as the word that means spicy, when in the context of food. I hope they continue working on this app.

Boring. I wouldn't replace a human teacher with AI

I was disappointed at the way the app works. I find it quite boring. The replies sound robotic, scripted and repetitive (I feel like it follows the same pattern again and again). It's much more inferior to interacting with a human being. In fact, I don't feel any genuine 'interaction' at all. I'd never see it as a good replacement for a human teacher. Learning a language is about learning to communicate with other human beings, not with robots. The reason why I give it a 2-star review is that they have a nice HUMAN customer support. But I wouldn't rate the app itself more than 1 star.

Subscribed Premium, but still basic

Pretty ok application. Just that after two days of use with montly subscription, it won't let me into premium modes, saying I have Basic plan. But I chose and paid for Premium, and in Google subscriptions it says, too, Premium. Support silent
