Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

Talk Home Mobile Process Review

After popping the free sim available from our local news agent, the process for activation was a breeze. The Talk Home Mobile website home page allows monitoring of costs and adding funds. Any problems are easily resolved by the the online chat bot who is actual a real person keen to assist unlike other sites.

Why did I give it 4 stars? I've been with Talk Home Mobile for quite a long time. First, I used the option to talk to EU countries. Currently, I use plans intended for the UK and internationally, as additional. The service is professional and very helpful. When Freedom Plans ran out, they were helpful in choosing the right new plan. On this occasion, I waited a day or two for a reply (I was using chat during this conversation) when it turned out that I could not activate this Freedom Plan. It paid off to be patient. Another time, when I needed to replace the SIM card because it turned out that the new phone had no internet except WiFi, I managed to settle this matter via email.
