Noise Pollution Violates UK Laws

Their new notification policy is a nightmare. I've been with them over a year. Suddenly when they take payment they text notifications overnight eg almost 1am or 7am when everyone is sleeping. Most people keep their phones open overnight eg for emergencies. Nothing gives them the right to wake us up. Email confirmations. Don't text!! I told them last month they had woken me up. I was fuming. They assured me they would turn off notifications. They did not. This month they texted me at 12.40AM!! This is highly unethical and violates UK noise pollution laws. Businesses cannot contact consumers outside reasonable business hours. This means 8am to 11pm.

I wish to profusely thank Talk Home staffer Mr Adam who provied excellent support through 'Chat' function on 5 July 2025. This Chat I tried after repeated failing to get anyone, even worse disconnection while trying to speak with Talk Home Mobile team. so their phone does not work but luckily chat worked and more luckily Mr Adam was fantastic. Thank you dear Adam

READ BEFORE YOU BUY!!

This company is so bad I’ve made several reviews then deleted them so I can make new ans updates reviews, this service provider is the worst in the uk by a mile I’ve tried all the pay as you go sims by different providers and this one is the worst by far. Every week for 1-2 days u won’t have no signal no data or calls because there network is down. No matter where in England you are you will have 1 bar of 4g that doesn’t work more time. This company is so bad I paid £84 to leave my contract early and now I’ve left this network provider is still messing with me by not giving me my pac code I’ve waited 2 days. Guys please read into my review before buying anything they use fake advertisement to get customers in they don’t use the network they claim to use or we wouldn’t be having these issues.

EE customer moved over

I left EE after they could not give me a new sim deal. I'm a legacy customer and only new customers get the deals! So loyalty isn't rewarded. I moved as Talk Home piggy back off EE. I've not had any signal issues and have ported my number over. I've used the customer service twice and both times it was good. My calls do go silent while connecting and connecting can take a few beats. But honestly I don't call people enough for that to bother me (I instantly thought my calls were not working, but worked out there was a delay) Price is good 👍

Hopeless.

Hopeless. They cancelled my contract for no reason at all. On the one occasion I got through to customer support they couldn’t explain why it had been cancelled, but seemed to think it was my fault. No idea how they reached that conclusion. Pay the extra buck and go with a proper mobile operator. In reply to your reply. I cancelled the payment after you denied access, not before. You need to get your act together and learn how to communicate with your customers. The payment was due on the 12th. My phone wasn’t working at about 7 in the morning on the 12th. You didn’t even wait to see if you would receive the payment later in the day. When I called customer service they seemed to think the fault was with me so I cancelled my payment.

Ordered a sim but forgot to cancel it

Ordered a sim but forgot to cancel it. Have been charged and no communication received from them! Do not recommend How can we be charged if we do not even activate a sim? Beyond me. Very shoddy customer service

SIM or network errors

I switched from EE to Talk Home Mobile which are same network so thought it would be fine. Had problems from the start. Calls not coming through. Voicemail messages from people who weren't in call log. Texts not arriving or sending. Phone takes ages to dial out, long silent pause before even starts to dial. Reported to Talk Home. They did a test which involved them calling me which came through so they decided I must have made all this up. I said I'd have to leave and they weren't bothered so I've left. Cheap but doesn't actually work.

Can’t get delivery correct

Ordered sim, over 2 weeks later no sim. Contacted them a lot they kept saying check back with us tomorrow and tomorrow I check what they can do and they say the same. I got one of them to say they would resend the sim still haven’t got one. And now going to the account shows no number where it once did

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Calls don't go through. And often no one can't reach you. Yes It's on EE but don't be fooled because they probably got the weakest and cheapest and poorest frequency and not the one EE usesfir itself. Because ive seen EE working fine in areaa where talkhome has serious voice and data and connectivity issues. Also your online account will never let you end subscription. Even their chat help doesn't guide you properly. And you don't even get an email confirmation for ending subscription. All in all, zero stars so stay away. Moving back to O2, after using Talk Home 5 days only.
