Signed up to this website as I wanted to pay by paypal and its easy and simple to use, had a problem with one takeaway didnt complain to takeaway.com but they saw a review i left and contacted me to help and sort the problem very nice and understanding couldn't be more helpful. Thanks
I have ordered takeaways from this restaurant over the phone in the past, but this was the first time I ordered online. Don't have too much faith in modern things, but everything went smoothly and quickly. Very pleased with online ordering and with the restaurant itself.

Wouldn't accept my Paypal payment on Easter it sucked i was hungry so i ordered for dominions using my Paypal an it went right though got my food in no time
My husband and I tried ordering food 5 times with this company. The range of excuses used were as followed; -The driver has gone home; -We no longer sell calzones (so canceled the whole order, even after saying it would be fine to have the alternative offer of pizzas) -We have not yet received your payment (when payment had been received they had closed) -We no longer deliver to your area -Order accepted then got cancelled for unknown reasons So after over 2 hours, several phone calls and 5 attempts of ordering food we finally got our order. Will never order again from this company as the are useless.

Easy to place order and option of what denomination of money you'll pay with. I presume so the delivery person knows what change to take. Didn't really feel need to request the 15p change though.

I am very disappointed with the service takeaway.com has been providing recently. Last night I ordered from Mazedar restaurant, and waited for two hours to realise my food wasn't arriving. When I ordered at 11.30 pm the restaurant showed it was open. So it would be helpful if the website did not show the restaurant was open when it in fact was not. This is also not the first time. I was disappointed similarly a few days ago as well, when I ordered and waited for two hours and my food didn't arrive. Really bad service, I am sorry to say.
ordered a meal and didn't get my correct order for 2 1/2-3 hours! Complained to takeaway.com to just be refunded my delivery, they also told me the restaurant was rude to them aswell and wouldn't do anything! Absolutely disgusting service!
I thought this service was excellent not only the ordering but the communication back to me via e mail was fab.
First order I made was accepted through takeaway.com received confirmation email paid through paypal. Later I received phone call from the takeaway stating I haven't paid and i hadone do pay cash to receive my meal. Takeaway.com dealt with them and I got my money bk and ordered a different takeaway to then take over two hours to receive it. Speaking to the takeaway and takeaway.com about where my order was I was told different stories from each. Overall not a great service. May have just been a bad night but won't be using again
Upon receipt of our delivery last night we found our chicken madras had been replaced with something with chicken and peas. Thankfully Kebabish were understanding in replacing the incorrect dish whilst the rest of our takeaway went cold. They explained how your operators call through with orders and this is where the error had been made. Waist of £25 in my opinion!!
I am not someone who ever writes online reviews. However, I am so appalled by Takeaway.com 's service I felt compelled for the first time to write of my 3 bad experiences in the space of the last 2 weeks. As a Bitcoin supporter, I was excited to see that a UK delivery service was now accepting them as payment. I like to support companies that support Bitcoins and so despite the poor choice/quality of restaurants decided to ditch (external reference) and (external reference) in favour of Takeaway.com. Big Mistake!!!!! Last week I was informed 30 minutes after ordering and paying using Bitcoins that the restaurant I ordered from was in fact closed and that Takeaway.com could only refund me to my bank account- annoying as the whole purpose of using Bitcoin is to avoid banks etc...But hey, these things happen, so I decided to give them another chance. A few days later I ordered from a different restaurant, again using Bitcoin, only to be told after my order was confirmed that the restaurant was not offering delivery on this day. Call me stupid (I feel it) I decided to give them one last chance and just attempted another order with them... be told that the wait time would be close to 2 hours long and so again my order has had to be cancelled and payment to be reimbursed to my bank again. The problem with Takeaway.com is that they do not seem to know what is going on with the restaurants they partner with and they don't even apologise for this! I fail to understand how every other take away website I have ever used seems to be able to deliver without hassle and yet Takeaway.com cannot. I'm sure the customer service team are lovely people, but they really do not seem to give two hoots and just pass the buck to the restaurants. If they have any chance of being a successful company they are going to need to build better relationships with the restaurants and not use the same generic apology reply. I wont be wasting anymore Bitcoins on this company and I wouldn't recommend anyone else do either. If using cash/ card payment, there are much better companies out there to choose from.
Everything went to plan. Had a super chinese Ordering was easy. My only comment was that the take a way we bought from, the menu was all over the place i.e. starters at the bottom of the page. Perhaps just a few teething problems as I assume Takeaway.com is relatively new. I would use them again though.
Have used takeaway.com on a regular basis now, and have never had any issues at all. Website is great and the food and service received has been excellent. Highly recommended!!
