We decided to treat ourselves to an upgrade to our existing solar system, and after a little searching, it became evident that Ron and his team provide the service and support we required. Decommissioning and recommissioning our new SunSynk Acure inverter and a wall-mounted Fogstar battery (which is of substantial size and weight compared to the original) was completed swiftly and competently. The installation was perfectly executed, and all upgraded paperwork for the increased battery export capacity was handled by Ron. I have no hesitation in recommending this team of support technicians to you.

The Solar Tech Support company was the only one to respond to a request for someone to supply and fit a new inverter for our solar panels after our old one finally expired after 26 years. Ron kept us well informed throughout, came and ascertained that the issue was down to the inverter having failed then sourced and fitted a new one. He got the system up and running again, set up the wi-fi performance feedback and took away the old inverter for disposal. By acting promptly and fitting the job around existing commitments we were able to get our solar power unit back in operation with minimal delay in the short while before we were due to go away for a week. The work was carried out very professionally and we were asked to confirm that all was in order the following day. I was impressed that, having recently taken on additional work for GivEnergy customers we were able to keep our solar panel down-time to a minimum. I would highly recommend for prompt attention and first-rate service.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Outstanding Service! My GivEnergy system had completely gone down, and unfortunately I was getting absolutely no support from either the original fitter or the supplier. I was left completely stuck with a system that wasn’t working. I contacted Solar Tech Support and they were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. They quickly got to the bottom of the problem, knew exactly what they were doing, and managed to get my entire system back up and running. Hands down, these guys are absolute experts in their field. The level of knowledge, professionalism and customer service was exceptional, especially when I’d already been left without any support elsewhere. Ronald was fantastic he was insistent in his approach to fixing my battery comms, inverter data corruption, he was fantastic explaining every step of the way, my installer couldn't fix the problem for a year, he did it in z few hours. If you need tech support go here he is fantastic

Genius when it comes to solar and off grid installations we spent days trying to work out what was causing our problems and Ron resolved it in less than an hour! Cant reccomend enough

We were having problems with our inverter, couldn’t get an early response from our installer a stressed conversation between our installer and solar tech support led to a text to us to authorise connection to your company . Ron was a very helpful and knowledgeable man who tried with a bit of difficulty as we are pensioners and very knowledgeable. Spent time on phone without making us feel small.we would recommend this company if you have any problems. Thanks Ron 5 star

My GivEnergy Solar/Inverter/Batteries system went down and the GivEnergy Administrators are totally non- existent/useless. Luckily, I found Ron, who used to be a GivEnergy Installer, and beyond my wildest dreams, he sorted everything out remotely from 200 miles away. His approach to everything is very professional and I cannot recommend him more highly. Thanks very much Ron!!

Ron was very knowledgeable and patient as we worked through the cause of Givenergy Hybrid Inverter suddenly failing (with 0W grid). He was able to quickly identify the probable cause, and point me in the right direction to identify the ‘burnt out’ AC isolator switch & piece of cable, which I was able to find a local electrician to replace. The best £95 I have spent. Thanks Ron.

My solar panels stopped producing unexpectedly, contacted Ron who assisted me initially remotely and then visited to correctly diagnose that the problem was on the roof. Within a month the solar panels are now up and working, kept me up to date with when scaffolding arriving and the lads who checked the solar panels, a very professional team, organisation and service

Givenergy panels and battery had been offline for a couple of months after various changes by Givenergy to their app etc. Ron did a fantastic job of sorting it out - got things up and running almost immediately, followed by some fine tuning to get things fully configured. What a legend - great service, great comms, great result.

Absolutely brilliant service. Our GivEnergy battery stopped working for no obvious reason. The manufacturers have gone in administration so no aftercare is available. Our installer could not diagnose the problem and gave up. We were at our wits end. A web search came up with Solar Tech Support. In truth, the reviews almost seemed to good to be true. But Ron diagnosed the problem within the hour and fixed it remotely the same day. He explained everything clearly and thoroughly and has offered solutions to other issues we had too. I honestly cannot recommend Ron highly enough. An absolute godsend in the mess that GivEnergy have left behind in their demise. Thank you again for all your help!

Wow!!! I have a Givenergy system. The battery stopped charging and depleted fully. Obviously Givenergy went into administration, so I was working with the reseller / installer to get it fixed. They told me they couldn't resolve it and the best they could do was offer me a replAcement at cost, so basically having to buy a new system. I happened to come across STS when searching for how to fix it myself. Ronald has been a god send, within 2 days all is working perfectly and set up correctly. When it comes to experts. Brilliant. He fitted a new dongle and set the system up properly. Even better, he explained why the storage batteries don't work in a power cut - not correctly wired up - expensive to fix, but a simple turn of the master switch will give emergency power. He is the third technician to look at this issue and the only one to resolve it. Friendly and appoachable, comes when he says he will and reasonable charges. What's not to like!

Absolutely amazing service. Ive had a couple of issues with my Givenergy system and couldn't manage to get in touch with Givenergy after they went bust. So I was searching on Google and came across Rons number. I sent Ron a WhatsApp message and got a prompt reply and he resolved the problem I had with my system. I can't recommend Ron enough its not often you get such a good service in this day and age. If you are experiencing issues with your solar system Ron is the man to contact.

After recently changing my fuse board the ct clamp broke, this meant my inverter was not communicating properly with my GivEnergy system. After several people letting me down, finally got put in touch with Ron. He came out within 24hours & resolved the fault within an hour, no fuse just got on with it. Work was tidy & arrived when he said he would. Ron followed up a few days later to confirm all was still good, great service from all involved.

This is the second time I have used Solar tech first time a faulty Givenergy inverter, tried all sorts to get it going my last call was to Solar tech and yes they got me back up and running, today system went down again due to a firmeware update and Ron talked me through everything all whilst he was on someone’s roof sorting their system out. I would recommend this chap to every body that has problems with their system no matter what make..

Any long suffering Givenergy customers are strongly recommended to use solar tech support. They fixed my battery issue in couple of hours.

Contacted Solar Tech about my Givenergy battery storage system that wasn't working. Battery status was "idle". Given the company Givenergy had gone bust, I need independent quality technical help. Very patient and clearly very knowledgeable about battery systems Ron diagnosed possible issues and suggested several possible remedies. Worked our way through them and fortunately it began to work. The fault was very specific and only an experienced engineer would have thought to check. Suffice to say I'll be back if I need independent support again. Lastly you only pay if there is a solution. Outstanding.
