Do not use them. We are required to do an electric meter change. I have booked 3 different engineers, who have said that the job is too difficult for them. They need a support team. Except SO energy does not provide this support team. They want us to request the council to help them. The council says they do not do this sort of thing and should ask the energy supplier. Absolutely ridiculous. My 70 year old mother is in tears at the stress. What can I do?!
We have left So Energy as a result of moving house. We have submitted our final readings and notified them of our last date of responsibility for the property concerned. We have received our final bill and been told that the refund, because we were in credit, would be in our account by 17:00 tonight. THIS DID NOT HAPPEN! Furthermore there have been several reviews on Truspilot about the ease of contact and working with So Energy. I guess they must be talking about another company to the one I am talking about, as a Seance would be more successful, conducted by the biggest charlatan in existence. Stephen Lockley. I would have given zero stars had that been possible.

I contacted SOENERGY about a faulty smart meter in my household and in their reply to my problem they contacted me very quickly on how to overcome the problem with meter with easy to follow instructions on how to solve the problem so i am very happy with SOENERGY with solving my problem so quickly.

“SO” far so good..👍👍 have had such a terrible experience with two other energy companies but SO energy have been so helpful with problems with a locked meter cupboard, and we are only allowed 4 readings per year. So I await my smart meter so they can receive my usage easily. That’s all I have wanted especially after one company stole £900 from my bank account at Christmas. I have plenty of people who want me to refer them to SO energy as they are not happy with their company’s so I am referring them as the service so far has been exemplary.👍👍👍👍
Have been with SO energy for several years and find their customer service excellent. Just renewed my gas contract with them, this time on a 2 year deal at good rates especially with all the global energy uncertainties at the moment. With them just for Gas supply at the moment because i get a great deal with another provider for night time electricity for charging my electric vehicle.
Had a query about renewing my Fixed Term & Customer Service sorted it by a phone call in no time. It's also a nice change to talk to someone.
I spoke to Toni, who could tell I was not too pleased with SO, but after chatting with her, my questions were answered in a friendly and professional manner, and left me feeling much better disposed towards SO Energy.
My wife and I are pensioners and are on pension credit. Much appreciated that you haven't increased our energy bill. Like others finding it hard to meet our day to day commitments with the cost of living been so high.
