We sold our house in thornaby through smith and friends and Lindsey and Claire couldn't have been more helpful. We pretty much left it all up to them and They made the whole experience very pleasant and easy for us. We can't fault their communication and attention to detail and work ethic. We would highly recommend them for future house sales
Very stressful time with solicitors but with the help of Rachel who helped every step of the way kept us up to date with what was happening and advising what steps to take . Would not have got through it without her

The length of time it took,was advised by Smith and friends on a solicitor to deal with the paperwork took their advice wouldn't advise anyone to use either of the SERVICES, it took 7 months from start to finish to deal with one property with no chain , RIDICULOUS.MARCH TO SEPTEMBER 6TH .
Manj was really helpful and really worked to get deals on both our sale and the purchase. Would recommend Smith and Friends.
I don’t normally leave reviews but I sold through Smith and friends and what can I say other than a sincere thanks to the Darlington staff who were recommended to me through a colleague. I was kept informed and up to date through the whole process and they were very helpful and responsive with any questions I had (which was a lot!). I would not hesitate to recommend Smith and Friends, they are top notch at what they do.
Great experience in buying our first home. We were tenants with them and the process was exactly how it is was described it would be. Check out of rented property was good and their mortgage adviser helped us with our purchase, Chris at HNW assisted with our legals and the sales staff were polite and always returned calls or emails even the most trivial things. Highly recommended.

Great service from start to finish and highly professional. Very competitive pricing and it was an excellent experience throughout. I was really impressed with the quality of the photos and 360 virtual walk through. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed.
I was selling my close relatives house and live over 250 miles away, so thought selling was going to be a challenge. The Hartlepool office was excellent, checking the property in line with the insurance requirements, arranging viewings etc. I did very little. They kept me fully informed, and it was a painless sale. They were a great help during this time.
The start of the process was great and the getting us engaged in the process was good, sold a great vision for the company and the process, this wasn’t always followed through at the same speed with slow comms, E.G the selling vendor always seemed one or two days ahead of Smith and Friends. Smith and Friends need to look at the flow of data and some times too many people are involved which creates delays and frustrations for the seller. Overall good but could have been much better with some simple tweaks. Thanks
