We sold our house in thornaby through smith and friends and Lindsey and Claire couldn't have been more helpful. We pretty much left it all up to them and They made the whole experience very pleasant and easy for us. We can't fault their communication and attention to detail and work ethic. We would highly recommend them for future house sales
Very stressful time with solicitors but with the help of Rachel who helped every step of the way kept us up to date with what was happening and advising what steps to take . Would not have got through it without her

Many thanks to Nicola, Megan, Joanne & Catherine and everyone in the Hartlepool office, for getting a drawn out sale across the line and completed. Very efficient agency, who I would happily recommend. We had feedback from every viewing and we knew when each viewing was booked and taking place, this was useful to know as the property was an unoccupied BTL, so you are dependant on the actions of your agent. Very efficient and checked the property for us each week to satisfy the insurance requirements as we live 200 miles away : ) Thank you! x
Took thier recommendation for solicitors to use, paid a premium for service which turned out to be absolutely useless. I have bought over 12 houses and none have taken this long. They then refused me the keys even when I confirmed completion had occurred. I lost a day's work and a contractor appointment as a result. Sorry won't be using them again Thanks for the reply Mark, I notice no apology for recommending the slowest solicitor, but no doubt they paid you a good commission.
The key handover was not really pleasant as I have to go to the office to collect it, the signboard *for sale* was not removed until few weeks after I moved in to the property. I still have to go back to collect other spare keys after 2weeks. I suggest hand over of key to a property should be a memorable experience for any client(s).
As a landlord I am very happy with the fully managed service provided by the team at the Ingleby Barwick office. All aspects of the letting process are carried out professionally and efficiently from start to finish and the friendly staff always have a positive attitude. We thought the whole process went very smoothly. The only disappointment was in the iast day, of exchange, handing over keys. We had not moved home in over 35 years & felt a little lost on the procedure, over when finances were in place & keys handed over.
Great people who work there, they all help and work with each other, great team work, always on hand to assist any issues, keep you in the loop with the progress of sale/buying property.
I was a buyer in this process. Not enough staff to allow us to view the house when we wanted. Viewing staff pleasant. Sales staff very helpful with negotiation with vendor. Sales progression could have communicated more frequently and did not seem to know very much about vendor details or timings. I had the impression she was totally overworked. When we picked up the keys the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. Disappointing experience.
