Just want to say how impressed I am…

Just want to say how impressed I am with my order. Was quite a large order of white crop T-shirts in a variety of sizes and so wouldn’t have been surprised if they messed it up. However, the order was fulfilled perfectly and the delivery was super quick considering I didn’t pay for delivery. Quality of the items are really really good as well in comparison to other stores. This is my first time ordering from select! Thank you so much will definitely be ordering again❤️

Awful service

Tried to return a faulty bag less than a week after I purchased it the manager was very rude didn’t even look at the fault and refused a refund only offering a credit note or exchange the bag wasn’t fit for purpose but that meant nothing to her it’s the last time I will ever shop in the bad quality store please if you shop there inspect everything as once they have your money there’s no chance of getting it back. Their head office was no help either just telling me to go back to store for their return policy AWFUL SERVICE DO NOT SHOP THERE BEWARE this was the Grays store in Essex

Rude!

Your store staff desperately need some customer service training. I never received a collection email so went to store to see if my order was there. The woman serving me was so rude and abrupt. Told me I needed I.D. which I didn’t know about. Showed her my NHS staff badge with my name and photo on to which she rolled her eyes and went “that’ll do for now but don’t do it again” First of all I’m not a child so don’t speak to me like. Second of all, if you could have been bothered to notify me by email I would have brought I.D. Will be thinking twice before using the St Helens store again

Bracknell store afternoon shift ladies

I went into the Bracknell store this afternoon around 3.15pm. The ladies who worked that shift are a credit to your store. I have massive anxiety, dont normally clothes shop in a shop.. one girl in particular, cannot remember her name.. but she helped me pick a whole outfit amd boosted my confidence!! Staff like these are few and far between!!!

Manager is exceptional

Very happy with my experience at Select Chatham. I went in looking for some summer clothes. I asked for some assistance with my shopping. The manager Katie went above and beyond to make me feel confident and comfortable with my purchases. When entering the shop, there is a warm and friendly environment created by the staff. Very happy with my experience and purchases. Thank you Katie!

Not a cracking store...just cracked boots!

Bought some patent black boots on 27/04/2024 at Barnsley store, they were reduced from £29.99 to £10.00. I wore them for 4-5 weeks, when whilst out, the sole heel felt spongy, my heel was not supported & was uncomfortable to walk in. They had cracked down the sides & come away from sole, I knew of selects policy of no refunds, (a government website on UK retail shoe law says is the customers legal right to have a refund on items that are not of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose,) which is why i was hesitant to go back to the store, but i ended up at beginning of June going into the Barnsley store with my boots & receipt, the person in charge that day was of course not a manager, she told me that i was heavy footed & that's why they broke, I have tendonitis, its at times very painful to walk so i try to walk softly as not to create more pain, to which she replied "exactly", which i didn't understand, "The manager will look at them when she comes in tomorrow if you leave them here with receipt. we'll send them to head office for them to decide but they will probably refuse to do anything!" the store lady said. Footwear should last on average 8-12 months not 4 weeks they are not fit for purpose. I refused to leave anything with them & complained via email when i got home, which reply from Tracy G "The manager knows about the problem, she will sort when you return to store". Yeah by sending them to head office, hence leaving customer with no evidence & not a leg to stand on. I have taken to two reputable cobblers, both said they can't mend them & one said that kind of damage doesn't happen with 4 weeks of wear that damage had happened already inside the boot when you bought them for them to give way in 4 weeks.

Customer Services are terrible.

Customer Services are terrible. The company make it extremely hard to return anything (my returns have now come back to me!), so I'd advise not to purchase unless you're 100% sure about the items. I'm now stuck with t-shirts that look completely different to the advertised pictures. Avoid!

1st And Last shopping at select clothing

Never will shop again here bought two tops returned them the very next day with labels on receipt the clothes I was refused a refund all I was offered was a card to put the money on or buy something. The clothes I got a 16 it was more like a 14 thats why I took the clothes back. Staff need customer service training very rude never again ill shop at select clothing ; the shop doesn't even deserve that one star

Out of date styles served by out of date staff

Out of date styles served by our of date staff. Our local branch is a sorry affair with posters advertising events which took place months earlier, mannequins with sellotaped hands and a general air of sadness and desperation writ large in the eyes of the sales staff. I don't know if this is a deliberate brand look , if all Select branches are white which ironically makes them look grubby, but the cheap and cheerful aesthetic screams slave labour and going out of business. Apart from this, there is no such thing as a casual wander, you are immediately approached by staff who watch you around the shop making you feel uncomfortable,guilty for not buying anything and s potential thief.

Never again...

I've been an occasional online buyer from Select Fashion over many years and, until now, haven't had any problems. Unfortunately, after my latest experience I will never purchase anything from them again. I ordered a bag which was reduced to £2.99 and, along with postage costs of £3.99 my bill came to £6.98. I received an email today advising me that a refund of £2.99 has been arranged. No explanation or reason given. I replied asking for the £3.99 postage costs to be refunded also. Their next email stated they had now arranged a £3.99 refund but didn't confirm that the goods refund of £2.99 was still being processed. I asked for confirmation that a full refund would be arranged. I'm still waiting for their reply! This pitiful level of customer service is inexcusable.

Don't order online!

Don't order from here nightmare to return items and at own cost for recorded delivery. Quality of item poor and oversized! Not good don't waist your time or money!

Nothing worse than picking few outfit…sad

Nothing worse than picking few outfit for holiday and having someone straighten and sort where you touched as if you done crime touching anything.We still got told not to try cloths only one.You need customers comfortable but we didn’t get this in Rhyl .Anyway we met shop empty and we left it empty.We couldn’t buy anything because we needed to try them first.Sad really😡

Absolutely disgusting shopping…

Absolutely disgusting shopping experience! I was made to feel like a thief because I couldn't connect to the in Chatham. I was then followed around the store, and my daughter was made to feel extremely uncomfortable! An assistant by the name of Donna was rude and aggressive and was told I wasn't allowed into the changing room with my daughter! even though I spent just under £100 I have made a complaint to head office and waiting on a reply. I would not even give 1 star review but don't give you the option....

Difficult returns

Dreadful company. I hate the way you have to send the package back. When returning via Evri their address doesn't even show up. If you manually add it they may not deliver and you wasted your money paying for the postage. I will never use them again.

Absolutely love Select good range of sizes an quality just reiceved boots so pleased with them nice fit comfy such a shame so many shops have closed I have to travel now they are limited like to feel what I’m buying
