I'm not a tradesman just a bungling amateur DIY'er. They were really helpful and knowledgeable people. For anyone else in my position who has worried that you will look daft without "trade knowledge" at Screwfix, worry not!

Called in Wrexham screwfix today, had an idea what I needed but couldn't find in catalogue. It turned out they didn't have the exact item I needed but assistant 'Chris' did all he could to combine a couple of items which would have done the exact job. He was very patient and polite as are the other assistants. Sctewfix definitely won't let you down when it comes to customer service and prices.
On the whole I have been very happy with the service I've had from Screwfix....but come on guys, PARCELFORCE !!!!!! really !!!! if you keep using parcelfoce you are going to lose a whole lot of customers.... parcelforce delivery is soooo terrible. ie, they drive past the end of your road, then you get a text saying they attempted delivery !!!! I cancelled several things today to be at home. I recieved a 'delivery attempted' text....ironically, whilst I was on the doorstep talking to a guy from DPD who was delivering a different parcel. If you don't change your delivery service I will not order again.....Sorry, but judging by the comments on here I am not alone in my anger....as I said, not strictly Screwfixes fault , but they need to change courier for something at least halfway reliable
Screwfix not providing the manufacturer’s warranty.
I had a failure of a Drayton Wiser hub identified by Drayton technical support. The product was purchased from Screwfix in late December 2023 and Drayton advised that it had a 18 month warranty period and to contact Screwfix. I did so and was advised that Screwfix only provide a 1 year warranty and would not exchange the faulty item. I checked with Toolstation and they provide the full 18 month warranty. Drayton were surprised and advised they would communicate with Screwfix to persuade them to match the warranty period. Drayton also provided a replacement hardware Wiser hub as a gesture of goodwill for which I am extremely grateful.
I will not purchase any further products from Screwfix due to their unacceptable tactics regarding failure to match manufacturer’s Warranty.
I just want to say the team in the Dursley store We're absolutely fantastic in providing advice. I'm not sure if his name was Pete? Working Easter holiday wasn't initially supposed to be there apparently; but he in particular provided outstanding service on that day. Above and beyond. Thank you to everyone who works at that branch with all my silly diy projects.

Screwfix in the heart of Gerrard Cross is now my 'go to" supplier for all my maintenance supplies. They have everything in stock which I ever need and the staff are very friendly and knowledgable. The prices are very competitive even compared with on-line sites and parking is free.

Next day delivery to store is dependent on Parcelfarce and can take up to 4 days, so a waste of time and quicker to order from Amazon or eBay (just tried to order 6 items and all next day delivery).

Previously I have been very happy with Screwfix but now in dispute over parking at the Barnet branch. Currently being threatened with court action although I have already explained that I do not have a receipt so assume I would have visited to check whether an item was appropriate for my needs and clearly found it wasn't. I only go to this car park to visit Screwfix. No other reason to be there. So disappointed by Screwfix customer service who were really unhelpful. They just said if I didn't have a receipt from the day in question they couldn't help! Seems like I will no longer be a customer of this company.
Screwfix keep a solid record of their stock - saving wasted trips to the merchant. Deliveries have also been reliable and the product accurate. Not always the best value, but convenient and quick to do business with.
Ordered a fridge freezer last night
Received an email to organise delivery. When I read this it stated It was kerbside delivery and it would basically be dumped on the pavement and this is the hilarious part? I was expected to help unload and dump it on the pavement! 🤡🤡🤡 Tried to contact the delivery company this morning but the contact number given can't be phoned from my mobile so went on live chat and said what my problem was? 16 minutes later I get asked what I needed help with so I told them again and after 37 minutes with no reply I received another message saying chat complete. Phoned Screwfix to be told to press 1 to transfer to WhatsApp as they were experiencing a high volume of calls. Shambolic service and now cancelling my order

Screwfix Newmarket, Suffolk. Staff member George went the extra mile and more for me today in identifying and locating replacements for my kitchen under cupboard lights which were now outdated. He researched online and found in the store’s stock, halogen replacements. He demonstrated patience, and a genuine wish to assist me in the most polite friendly manner. Thank you.

The problem with this company is that it simply will not deliver many things even if you live within a mile of the store and you are prepared to pay the delivery charge. No customer focus. No wonder amazon does so well. Items may cost more on amazon but at least you get them.

On December 15th, I purchased a product with the expectation of next day delivery. However, by December 20th, the item had still not arrived. I contacted your customer service team (after 5 days)that day, and while they were very apologetic and assured me the item would arrive the following day, nothing arrived.
By December 22nd, I had neither received the product nor any updates from your side. It feels as though the delay and inconvenience caused to your customers are of no concern to your team.
The lack of proactive communication and the inability to deliver on your promises have been incredibly disheartening. It is not only about the delay but also about the lack of accountability. Unfortunately, this experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with Screwfix’s delivery service and customer support.
