Sakura Mobile is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
Sakura Mobile is very easy to set up via eSIM which is what I went for. We travelled a fair amount in Japan and I had good coverage everywhere we went. The price was fair (equivalent to about £25 per week for unlimited use). I wasn’t sure how to set up the eSIM at first so I emailed Sakura Mobile help center. They replied within an hour and walked me through the IOS recommended settings. 10/10. Will use again and would highly recommend.
Purchase and Installation, as well as usage in Japan went without problems.
All the processes was easy eve that i had an issue with the data not working because I did something wrong in the process, i contacted them through email and they were super fast and helpful and helped me to fix the issue, thanks for the amazing team and i highly recommend it

I run into some difficulties with the unit the response from sakura was inmediate and they sent me a new one righr away…pocket wifi rules good job guys you are the best ….enrique from Uruguay

It was very conveniënt to have Wifi connection where ever I was with the Pocket Wifi device. It made traveling easier being able to use my apps (especially navigation) all the time. (There were some locations distant from the city where I did not had full reception) The customer service was great as well.

Super fast delivery to the post office for pick up. Stable and fast mobile data on the journey in a flatrate. The next time I would try the mini router so that both travellers would have Internet and I could use my telephone with its number (I have no double sim or e-sim).

I've been using Sakura mobile for 2 years now. And each time I go to Japan, I odered a sim card. The booking process and delivery of the sim card is quite easy and straight forward. I've always received my sim cards which ever city I was in Japan.

Only website that let me order as a minor. Understands a students possible situation. Asks for parents permission. Gave me what my exact problem was just to be sure so I don't waste my time. Prices is cheap for the amount of data.

I ordered a Sakura SIM card online and picked it up it at Narita airport. After inserting it in my phone and configuring the network settings for it, following the instructions leaflet given together with the card, it worked reliably for the duration of my trip.
