Went to view a property on Wednesday 9th July. I waited 15 before ringing to see if anyone was turning up to show me round, no one did. I then rang the office and they said they had no recollection of my booking. I said I had a confirmation email. They said “well it must have been moved, did you not get told?”. IF I WAS TOLD I WOULD’NT HAVE TURNED UP WOULD I? I won’t be using Richard Kendall again. This is the second time this has happened now.
Mandy Bennett at the Ossett branch of Richard Kendall was, without doubt, the best Estate Agent if have ever dealt with! She went the extra mile on everything she did & whatever I asked it was dealt with without a problem. I've never had an Estate Agent like it, had some absolute nightmares in the past. I made a massive mistake in appointing W H Brown in Wakefield originally to sell my late Mum's property. They overpriced it, gave us poor information on how to set it up to sell, due to this we had very few viewings & very poor liason. The worst bit was recommending the incompetent solicitors, Gilson Gray in Lincoln, who were a nightmare. I got rid of W H Brown at the first opportunity & listed with Richard Kendall. The difference was night & day! Mandy dealt with absolutely everything brilliantly. She dealt with both sets of solicitors which was a thankless task. We completed yesterday & it would have still been on going if it wasn't for Mandy. To summarise, if you're listing a property in that area just use Richard Kendall, avoid W H Brown & never ever use Gilson Gray solicitors. Thank you Mandy, you've restored my faith in Estate Agents, well one anyway! Absolute star!!
As we have an existing relationship with Richard Kendall they were an obvious choice for the sale of our family home. With branches across the 5 towns they are a perfect choice for the region, with wonderful staff offering a personal, passionate service whilst remaining highly professional and efficient. Karen was our negotiator in Wakefield and worked so hard over a 12 month period! She kept the chain connected through a complex process with various issues, keeping related parties updated along the way. So happy in our new home and the pain was worth it - honestly Karen 😃. You're welcome to visit anytime to see what it was all about and that's not something you'll hear said to an estate agent very often - speaks volumes 🥰. Thank you.

If I was to say Karen M at Richard Kendall Wakefield is fantastic that would be a understatement, she is worth her weight in gold and has helped me through a purchase which to be fair has been rather turbulent. Karen has dealt with me with kindness, professionalism and the way she goes above and beyond is so amazing. I cannot say enough as words cannot comprehend, however thank you so much for such great service and professionalism.
We switched to Richard Kendall after our first agency over sold and under delivered. Our experience with Richard Kendall was a night and day difference. Their marketing was superior, we had a higher volume of better qualified potential buyers, and their communications were frequent and appreciated, in particular those of Karen Marijewko who managed the sale. We have recently had an offer accepted through Richard Kendall and I can't speak highly enough of the service that both the company as a whole and specifically Karen Marijewko, have provided. Although I own a home and have purchased properties a couple of times before, this is my first time taking a leading role in the process. I had a lot of questions and wasn't entirely sure of the process or etiquette, nor was I perhaps the best at understanding the crazy world of real estate, despite having watched every episode of Selling Sunset (including the reunion). Everyone at Richard Kendall is incredibly polite, lovely and patient but especially Karen Marijewko. It very much feels like Karen has gone out of her way to help me and my partner. She entertains my calls, ridiculous questions, misunderstandings and unnecessary episodes of panic with compassion, professionalism and sincerity. She is also incredibly fun to talk to and always makes me smile, putting me at ease. I can't speak highly enough of my experience so far.
