Went to view a property on Wednesday 9th July. I waited 15 before ringing to see if anyone was turning up to show me round, no one did. I then rang the office and they said they had no recollection of my booking. I said I had a confirmation email. They said “well it must have been moved, did you not get told?”. IF I WAS TOLD I WOULD’NT HAVE TURNED UP WOULD I? I won’t be using Richard Kendall again. This is the second time this has happened now.
Mandy Bennett at the Ossett branch of Richard Kendall was, without doubt, the best Estate Agent if have ever dealt with! She went the extra mile on everything she did & whatever I asked it was dealt with without a problem. I've never had an Estate Agent like it, had some absolute nightmares in the past. I made a massive mistake in appointing W H Brown in Wakefield originally to sell my late Mum's property. They overpriced it, gave us poor information on how to set it up to sell, due to this we had very few viewings & very poor liason. The worst bit was recommending the incompetent solicitors, Gilson Gray in Lincoln, who were a nightmare. I got rid of W H Brown at the first opportunity & listed with Richard Kendall. The difference was night & day! Mandy dealt with absolutely everything brilliantly. She dealt with both sets of solicitors which was a thankless task. We completed yesterday & it would have still been on going if it wasn't for Mandy. To summarise, if you're listing a property in that area just use Richard Kendall, avoid W H Brown & never ever use Gilson Gray solicitors. Thank you Mandy, you've restored my faith in Estate Agents, well one anyway! Absolute star!!

With branches across the 5 towns they are a perfect choice for the region, with wonderful staff offering a personal, passionate service whilst remaining highly professional and efficient. Karen was our negotiator in Wakefield and worked so hard over a 12 month period! She kept the chain connected through a complex process with various issues, keeping related parties updated along the way. So happy in our new home and the pain was worth it - honestly Karen 😃. Superb service from Richard Kendal Normanton, especially Karen Dawson who regularly stayed late into the evening to push through the sale and to ensure that we were aware of the progress of the vendors, vendors solicitor’s and the tenants. It was reassuring beyond words to have someone who was trustworthy and contactable. Karen Dawson is an amazing estate agent and I have no reservations in recommending her services.

Advertisement of properties could do with being made a little more personal rather than feeling like a copy and paste exercise. The office was excellent at keeping me up to date throughout the whole process of my sale. Avoid using their suggested mortgage advisor as he rarely returns calls or replies to emails.
Karen Marijewko was the broker in process of purchase my new home. She is the most professional, helpful and kind person. I highly recommended working with this agency.

Karen Marijewko was engaged as the communicating agent to me as a buyer. She has amazing professional 'WOW' work ethics. What's needed, On time, with Wisdom. I'm not the easiest person to please regarding professional conduct but Karen has done the company proud. Her work integrity is what I like most. If Karen says,"I'll call you back" be rest assured she will, with answers. I am a buyer not a seller, but she looked after me like a seller. I would not hesitate doing business with Kendall as a buyer or a seller because of the service rendered by Karen Marijewko. She's an asset to the company!
