Went to view a property on Wednesday 9th July. I waited 15 before ringing to see if anyone was turning up to show me round, no one did. I then rang the office and they said they had no recollection of my booking. I said I had a confirmation email. They said “well it must have been moved, did you not get told?”. IF I WAS TOLD I WOULD’NT HAVE TURNED UP WOULD I? I won’t be using Richard Kendall again. This is the second time this has happened now.
Mandy Bennett at the Ossett branch of Richard Kendall was, without doubt, the best Estate Agent if have ever dealt with! She went the extra mile on everything she did & whatever I asked it was dealt with without a problem. I've never had an Estate Agent like it, had some absolute nightmares in the past. I made a massive mistake in appointing W H Brown in Wakefield originally to sell my late Mum's property. They overpriced it, gave us poor information on how to set it up to sell, due to this we had very few viewings & very poor liason. The worst bit was recommending the incompetent solicitors, Gilson Gray in Lincoln, who were a nightmare. I got rid of W H Brown at the first opportunity & listed with Richard Kendall. The difference was night & day! Mandy dealt with absolutely everything brilliantly. She dealt with both sets of solicitors which was a thankless task. We completed yesterday & it would have still been on going if it wasn't for Mandy. To summarise, if you're listing a property in that area just use Richard Kendall, avoid W H Brown & never ever use Gilson Gray solicitors. Thank you Mandy, you've restored my faith in Estate Agents, well one anyway! Absolute star!!
As we have an existing relationship with Richard Kendall they were an obvious choice for the sale of our family home. With branches across the 5 towns they are a perfect choice for the region, with wonderful staff offering a personal, passionate service whilst remaining highly professional and efficient. Karen was our negotiator in Wakefield and worked so hard over a 12 month period! She kept the chain connected through a complex process with various issues, keeping related parties updated along the way. So happy in our new home and the pain was worth it - honestly Karen 😃. You're welcome to visit anytime to see what it was all about and that's not something you'll hear said to an estate agent very often - speaks volumes 🥰. Thank you.

Liz and Joanne - Wakefield branch Both Liz and Joanne kept me informed with my purchase every step of the way, they were polite and nurturing throughout which made the experience feel somewhat safe (after a previous sale falling through this was exactly the kind of treatment I needed!) Both Joanne and Liz were considerate, knowledgeable and helpful, they made what could have been a stressful time, pretty stress free, doing a lot of chasing on my behalf to ensure things ran smoothly. We appointed Richard Kendall due to an unacceptable & unprofessional service from another Estate Agent. From the initial phone call through to the date of completion Richard Kendall remained professional throughout the whole process. Mandy was our key contact throughout & although there were issues with other Estate Agents & Solicitors, she kept us informed at all times in a professional, friendly & timely manner. I would definitely recommend Richard Kendall Estate Agents & wouldn't hesitate to use them again should we decide to move again in the future.

I had every confidence in dealing with Mandy at Kendall’s estate agents having previously dealt with her in the past. Although it was not a straightforward transaction Mandy was there to mediate between myself and the vendors. There was trust and consideration on both sides and credit a lot of this to Mandy’s expertise. All the staff I have dealt with at Kendall’s have been very efficient and courteous. A family run firm with a personal touch. Highly recommend their professional and personal service.
Amanda / Sophie @ Pontefract office was really good from start to finish. Advised and happily discussed the marketing and changing of photos and descriptions etc to what we wanted. They phoned all potential buyers and invited them to look at our property, they then Managed to achieve a lot of viewings and an acceptable offer within 3 weeks of going online. Amanda then managed the sale progression through to completion and responded to emails and calls all the time. Thank you.
The whole process from valuation to completion/moving day was completed in 4 months Roger who carried out our valuation is extremely knowledgeable Karen was assigned as our main point of contact and throughout the whole process was professional and efficient We wouldn’t hesitate to use Kendall’s again
