Went to view a property on Wednesday 9th July. I waited 15 before ringing to see if anyone was turning up to show me round, no one did. I then rang the office and they said they had no recollection of my booking. I said I had a confirmation email. They said “well it must have been moved, did you not get told?”. IF I WAS TOLD I WOULD’NT HAVE TURNED UP WOULD I? I won’t be using Richard Kendall again. This is the second time this has happened now.
Mandy Bennett at the Ossett branch of Richard Kendall was, without doubt, the best Estate Agent if have ever dealt with! She went the extra mile on everything she did & whatever I asked it was dealt with without a problem. I've never had an Estate Agent like it, had some absolute nightmares in the past. I made a massive mistake in appointing W H Brown in Wakefield originally to sell my late Mum's property. They overpriced it, gave us poor information on how to set it up to sell, due to this we had very few viewings & very poor liason. The worst bit was recommending the incompetent solicitors, Gilson Gray in Lincoln, who were a nightmare. I got rid of W H Brown at the first opportunity & listed with Richard Kendall. The difference was night & day! Mandy dealt with absolutely everything brilliantly. She dealt with both sets of solicitors which was a thankless task. We completed yesterday & it would have still been on going if it wasn't for Mandy. To summarise, if you're listing a property in that area just use Richard Kendall, avoid W H Brown & never ever use Gilson Gray solicitors. Thank you Mandy, you've restored my faith in Estate Agents, well one anyway! Absolute star!!

With branches across the 5 towns they are a perfect choice for the region, with wonderful staff offering a personal, passionate service whilst remaining highly professional and efficient. Karen was our negotiator in Wakefield and worked so hard over a 12 month period! She kept the chain connected through a complex process with various issues, keeping related parties updated along the way. So happy in our new home and the pain was worth it - honestly Karen 😃. You're welcome to visit anytime to see what it was all about and that's not something you'll hear said to an estate agent very often - speaks volumes 🥰. Thank you.

Richard Kendall sold our house within six weeks of it being on the market (although we did take a slightly lower offer than we were happy with). We were kept regularly updated as to the progress which was incredibly helpful. We have taken off a star as we did however feel that the company were working on behalf of our buyers and not us (even though we were the paying customers)!

Leah at Ossett Richard Kendal dealt with the purchase of our new house and worked on behalf of the vendor. However she was an absolute superstar, she was always in contact and checked in with us and kept us up to date. She went up and beyond for us even though she was not working on our behalf. She kept me very sane in a the mix of a very stressful time of moving house.

Highly recommend Richard Kendall and in Particular Amanda Holt who has been brilliant throughout the whole process, she is both friendly and professional and has kept me updated weekly. Amanda and the rest of the Richard Kendall team has been amazing throughout. We've had some people cancel on the viewings and didn't show up at all but the Team didn't fail to chase them as well as keeping us updated all the time. What can i say about Karen and Amanda at the Wakefield branch other than they were absolute superstars throughout our sale and purchase. What can at best be described as an extremely difficult and stressful journey these ladies were incredible. They kept us informed, dealt with countless difficulties all while being totally professional, reassuring us that we would get there, they were kind, friendly and approachable throughout. ABSOLUTE SUPERSTARS!!!
