RP CS Stephen did a great job working with me today. Very helpful, patient and explained what he was doing as we went along. Always felt like I was a part of the fix not just sitting by waiting for someone else to eventually tell me "all done". Great Job Stephen, I appreciate it!

I have a hard time giving this company 3 stars, but 2 stars seemed a bit harsh, but after spending 2 hours with customer support with them, there is no way I am going to give them a free 1/2 star, so they go down to 2 stars. Here's the big picture: Our family has 5 RedPocket plans and we've used this company for a number of years. It's hard to say for sure, but probably 3-5 years. Basically, as far as cell service, it's just about the best bang for the buck you'll find--IF it is working. Jump forward to today. This experience is typical of RedPocket service. I was trying to call my wife today when she was away from the house and I kept getting a complete stranger rather than my wife. It was causing a fair amount of distress because not only could I not reach her, the people who answered the phone would not talk to me, but rather just said to quite calling them--just the thing someone who stole a cellphone might say. My wife arrived home and said her phone number rang and had been in her pocket the whole time. So I contacted support, and after 2 hours of them making changes, they said that they thought it was fixed, but by that point, all of my wife's minutes (it's a pre-paid monthly plan) were used up. This is RED POCKET's problem, I put 2 hours of my own time into helping them troubleshoot it, and when they run our minutes down, want us to PAY FOR MORE MINUTES so that they can continue trouble shooting. Their only alternative offered was to wait until the plan renews at the end of the month to get more minutes. This just seems like a pretty penny ante way for a business to operate. But this is typical of how the customer service has been with Red Pocket over the years. When it works, it seems to work adequately for our needs. We don't use our cell phones much at all, but like to have them for those emergency or semi-emergency situations. But at this point, I'm tempted to move back to T-Mobile. They are quite a bit more for a bare bones cell plan, but their service and their website account management is top notch. On Red Pocket, there is not even any way to see your call detail records. And they do exist--but in order to get them, you have to go through a multi-day process to request specific ranges of dates/times and wait for them to send them. Really bush league if you ask me. So there you go, now you know.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. Tried to set up a new first time account, lost my Password they say I signed up for One Click Sign In (I DID NOT) so I have to sign in/surrender my Google or Apple account info. I have Legal Rights and I choose to exercise them, will not compromise my accounts. All their site had to do was PROVIDE AN EMAIL OR TEXT LINK TO RESET MY PASSWORD. They can keep the $10. I will go with Tracfone instead despite being owned by Big Brother Verizon now, their plans start at $10 Autopay and their phones start at $20 NOT $59 but I actually found a Tracfone phone with 1 year Service for only $49 TOTAL! FOR REAL! I also appreciate the Tracfone presence at ALL of my local stores. ACCESSIBILITY IS ESSENTIAL. MY EXPERIENCE WITH RED POCKET IS OVER.
