Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

Peugeot 208 Breakdown
Mark turned up at the time expected and did his level best to sort out the problem. He correctly diagnosed the fault and explained that it would have to go to the main dealer to be repaired. He explained the subsequent procedure for a hire car etc.

1 star is being generous
1 star is being generous. I was a customer of the RAC all my adult life until 2024 when my annual cover expired. Everything was great until I broke down and needed recovering. Lone female in a dangerous place on the A38 outside of Bristol. I am not kidding you, they rescued me at 7.40 am the following day (14 hrs later). It was in Oct and it was freezing/raining and I had to stay in the pitch black overnight. I was freaked out by it to say the least. Had to arrange someone to go to my house and stay overnight to look after my son. The worst experience ever. No apology from the RAC at all after complaining, nothing. They then even deleted my recovery report so it looks like the incident never existed. Shocking. This has happened to several other people I know also. Even the rescue man put a complaint in, and I still heard nothing. I am not sure how they have 4.5* reviews as this can’t be correct. I am sure this review will get deleted too! Do not touch them. There are much better companies out there, just do your research.
