Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

Work out how to contact the rac before any breakdown 192025
The mechanic arrived much faster than originally stated. he knew exactly what the problem was and gave me the choice of enabling me to drive to my usual garage or fix it there. I chose for him to put me a new battery in. He was polite and friendly However I would have preferred to ring as the online system would have been very difficult without help.

I am shocked at how fantastic my recovery was, Richard (patrol 1829) was amazing. He genuinely made an awful experience bearable. I was stuck on the M5 (female on my own). He got to me in half an hour and was so helpful and nice. He went above and beyond to make me feel safe and gave me great advice. Couldn’t recommend more, as I’ve heard such horror stories. Biggest surprise to have such amazing service when so many companies now seem to offer such bad services.

We arrived back from holiday in the…
We arrived back from holiday in the early hours to a car that would not start and the onward journey for my wife's 87 year old mother was not possible. Harry arrived around 5.30 am and very quickly started the car but also established that the battery was no longer serviceable. He arranged for a next day replacement with the new battery fitted by 9.30am. His knowledge attitude and cheerfulness were all 1st class. I could not be more satisfied with Harry, his colleague Michael and the RAC. Compliments all round.
