Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

After submitting my details online re my breakdown, RAC came iut to me within 49 minutes. Jagdish, iD patrol 5484 rang me beforehand to let me known he was 15/20 minutes away which was helpful to know so communication was great. Once he was with me he explained what he was doing and confirmed that it was the battery that needed replacing. He jump started my car and advised to keep the engine running and reassured me i would get home fine. Overall a good experience and made me glad I had continued my membership with the RAC as Jagdish was very efficient, professional and friendly.

Very helpful mechanic who advised when he would arrive and then accompanied me to a petrol station to ensure the car started again after filling up for the journey I needed to do.

Reported a fault, unable to start my car, broken down in a car park at 14:28 today. Was given a rescue time of between 16:30 and 18:30. This was then put back to 19:30 and then between 21:30 and 23:30. The security guard managed to jumpstart my car to get home as he needed to close the car park. Now it wonβt start again and Iβm expecting to be strung along for hours on end if I contact the RAC to call out at home. Iβve been a premium member with the RAC for over 15 years and shall be seeking breakdown cover elsewhere. Abysmal customer service.

Car broke down in Manchester. RAC were soon on the scene and as they couldn't fix it took me and the car to a motorway service station. They then organised a hire car so I could get home to Herts and arranged for my car to be taken to my local garage. Brilliant service - seamless, friendly, and very efficient indeed. I was previously with a much cheaper, not well known, breakdown service when I had a puncture on the motorway which couldn't be fixed with sealant. They took ages to arrive and then charged a fortune per mile over 20 miles to get my car to my local garage. As with all insurance, you only know the value when you make a claim. I have no hesitation in recommending RAC. I will never use anyone else.

Took 3 calls and 3 days to get car fixed :( First call waited 6 hours, had to cancel to go to work. Second call, waited 6 hours, had to cancel to go to work. Third call, came out within an hour, fixed problem. Not the greatest service but fixed the problem.
