Given a predicted 9 hour wait
Reported a fault, unable to start my car, broken down in a car park at 14:28 today. Was given a rescue time of between 16:30 and 18:30. This was then put back to 19:30 and then between 21:30 and 23:30. The security guard managed to jumpstart my car to get home as he needed to close the car park. Now it won’t start again and I’m expecting to be strung along for hours on end if I contact the RAC to call out at home. I’ve been a premium member with the RAC for over 15 years and shall be seeking breakdown cover elsewhere. Abysmal customer service.
