Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

I work for the RAC taking breakdown calls but this is the first time I have been on the customer side. It was really straightforward logging my breakdown on the app, I received my text message with link to track my breakdown, also a link incase my battery needed to be replaced, the patrol Robert 4536 rang me when he was on his way and arrived in quick time. Robert was a really nice friendly guy, explained what he was doing, talked about smr and got my car going.

Christopher, ID 5046, phoned to let us know he was on his way and when to expect him. Upon arrival he introduced himself and then looked at my car to see why it wouldn't start. He explained throughout the diagnosis process what he was doing and the potential outcomes we could expect. He was very polite, chatty and cheerful throughout - fantastic service, thank you

Without doubt the worst company I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I have had tried to contact on 3 occasions for 3 different breakdowns. The first time I was told that my car wasnt covered even though I phoned them to tell them. They then charged me 30 pounds to come out. The next time was for a puncture. I simplyncould not get through I was on hold and told constantly to log it online. I had no internet where I was so I called a friend and asked them to log it for me. Upon entering the details I was told that they could not log my fault online and I would have to call. I waited for 2 hours and no response. More recently I had the same problem apparently 11pm is an extremely busy time again I was told tonlog it online. I tried and again I was told I had to call. I gave up after being on hold for an hour. I very rarely complain but I tried customer services who hide behind email and AI responses. I tried the ceo and again was fobbed off. I will never ever go with the RAC again they are absolutely terrible. Customer services will not even look into the details and tell me why I can't log online. I have now joined the AA to run concurrently as I cannot trust the RAC.
