Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

Simply dreadful
Simply dreadful. I contacted RAC as I have national recovery following gearbox failure. After 3 hours a patrol turned up to tell me I needed to be recovered and said the breakdown lorry would be 40 minutes. That was 3and a quarter hours ago. New ETA is now01.20 tomorrow morning! It's my 74th birthday today and have missed a family party and on top of that I should have taken medication for atrial fibrillation and blood pressure at teatime. After the vehicle is to be dropped at repair premises I still have 30 more miles to go before I get home but the friend who was going to pick me up has now gone to bed. I'm just glad it's not one of my daughters who has been abandoned on the side of a road. No more RAC for me, thank you. This review has been written in real time, fortunately I'm warm, dry and have drink and phone charger with me. Time of initial call out approx 4.30pm time now 23.38. Recovery company, Weston Recovery Services. Daughter has phoned but very little empathy from them.
