Richard - ID 5009 turned up to within a few seconds of the expected time given by the app. He got straight to work and identified the problem. Very professional and informative. He did not carry the battery i needed, but he got the vehicle started so i could drive to local garage.

My van broke down 38 miles from HULL…

My van broke down 38 miles from HULL due to brake failure. Got my Van to a safe place. Booked recovery online at 2pm as you can't speak to a human directly anymore. Booking confirmation said 6pmto 10pm for RAC to arrive. 8pm came no one arrived refreshed tracking it said 11pm to 2 am following morning. So cancelled my callout and had to book a private recovery at my expense. RAC should not be in business if they can't deliver the service they offer. Last time I join RAC will use another breakdown company can't be any worse.

We Need to Talk About Kevin

Mechanic arrived within half an hour or so. The initial reporting of the breakdown was not ideal as I would rather speak to someone on phone to report in. The mechanic Kevin ID 1766 was brilliant. Total professional.

14 Hour wait for recovery.

An absolute disaster with the service from the RAC, my van broke down at 1.30pm on the M2 near to London, the wait for the first recovery was 3 1/2 hours and they moved it a mere 12.5 miles down the motor way to a service station. A further 9 hours, yes you did read that correctly, 9 hours later it was finally towed the 130 miles back home.

Happy customer

After a 3 hour wait James ID: 7326 arrived with apologies for the delay, found the fault immediately, unfortunately not repairable at roadside so made temporary repair to get me home. Followed me home to ensure fault didn't re occur. James arranged for RAC mobile mechanic to repair the car the next day. Great service from James. The next morning contacted by mobile mechanic John Burchett who arrived when he said he would and completed the repair quickly and efficiently. The service provided by John was excellent, a credit to your service.
