James Bateman took over as property manager for our block of flats recently. Since he has been managing the block I have e mailed him about various issues. He always replies very promptly and tries to resolve the issue. For example recently there was a leak that needed sorting out and he immediately organised a plumber. In addition he has progressed a tree survey and works to trees. I find him both efficient and professional.

I've never experienced anything like this company!! I am a leaseholder and the lack of responses to many queries over the last few years, on reporting work required or other issues is breathtakingly woeful. They do not respond correctly to leaseholders. So we are paying them to not respond to queries on our properties!! There is no scrutiny of costs, with the service charge jumping from £2,500, a year to £7,600 a year when we asked about the necessity for the this increase, we get no answers for months! The demand is due by end of the month!! There is no scrutiny with costs, and very bad communication. AVOID!!

Be warned of Prime Property. Especially Lauren Bennett and the clown show that has started at Deverill Court. Issues at hand. - Lack of minutes - Zero transparency - Exorbitant costs - Zero professional knowledge on building safety and fire safety - A company solely driven by profit by using ‘preferred’ contracts which include ‘kick backs’ - A building ‘manager’ who does not engage residents - Hidden costs through service charges If you decide to use this company, be warned, you will learn why the bad reviews hold merit.
