I had a wonderful experience throughout the entire process! I felt it was incredibly informative in not only content, but strategy as well. Jill, our course teacher, was wonderful and really encouraged everyone to ask questions and seek guidance to feel confident and prepared for the Exam. The portal was great, especially the practice exams. They were a huge value and as I studied during our self study week, I kept the same study hours focusing on those while hand writing the answer/ explanation of the questions I got wrong down to cement the correct information .

I took the NMLS education course with…

I took the NMLS education course with OnCourse Learning and would not recommend it. The user interface is outdated and difficult to navigate. There’s no live agent available, calls go unanswered, and email responses are automated and unhelpful. The course content is repetitive, and the practice tests don’t explain why answers are correct or incorrect, which limits their usefulness. The biggest issue is the conflicting information about course deadlines. Their site lists both 11:59 p.m. and 6:29 p.m. as cutoff times with no clear explanation. I completed my final class, but because of state requirements for time spent, I can’t finish the course until the system lets me move forward. I’ve tried to get clarity, but haven’t received a real response. If the deadline is 11:59, I can complete the course. If it’s 6:29, I may have to start over entirely. Given the lack of support and the cost of the course, that’s unacceptable. I would strongly recommend looking at other providers.

CE again....oh joy!!

I don't like how quick it reverts back to the log in screen and that I have to bio sign in EACH time. Also, I kept losing the signal on the first night, not the internet however. The Q&A can be worded tricky, in my opinion. Speaker is good, like that he puts meaning into it, keeps my attention, which is hard to do when the information seems repetitive year after year, generally speaking.

Disappointed.

Don't take the 3 days live class if you need to really understand something about Mortgages. Class is taken in fast paced environement and you basically pay just for the pre-licensing paper.

My classroom instructor was excellent

My classroom instructor was excellent. She had a very broad knowledge of the topics covered and was able to answer any and all questions from the class. I wish more classroom classes were offered...much more useful to participants than just reading the materials.

Paid for premium and am getting no help

I am new to the mortgage field and I felt like the 20 hour course did an ok job at giving an overall understanding of the information. Here is where the negatives come in. Firstly after paying for the course I had to reach out to support to get my account to reflect my purchase and course. That process was fairly quick and painless. Within a day they had me logged in and setup to do my course. I paid for the premium with the prepxl course for the extra material to help me learn it all. They never setup my PrepXL so I only had the main course for info. I failed my first test and I feel it would have been different had I been able to log in and use PrepXL to help prepare for the test better. I had to pay another $110 to reschedule another test and have been blowing them up about why I cant access it and all I get is we sent a ticket about it and will let you know when its available. Kinda frustrating because I paid for it and cant use it and there seems to be no urgency on getting it working!

Unorganized course and instruction

The exam prep was not very organized and the instructor talked too much about their own personal experiences in the industry. The exam cram course should solely be based on what is going to be on the test. Also, I understand that students have their own questions, but I feel that a lot of time was focused on answering repeated questions especially in the math section. Overall, the oncourse webinar barely influenced my exam results. I had to purchase a separate course from another company to pass the test, this one had all the things I needed and was straight to the point. My learning style did not match what was presented, this was unfortunately a waste of time and money.

Passed SAFE UST 85% first try!

Super Recommend Oncourse if you want to pass it on your first try, studying by yourself won't cut it, I'm glad I chose this course! Many practice test very close to the actual test, and the instructor was nice to answer all of my questions! Thank you Jill!!
