Found me a vehicle at very short notice, well priced, suitable for needs. Easy check in and return precess, and the shuttle to airport is helpful.

great service and reliable vehicle
The car’s interior is dusty and did not smell very clean. It smelt old like it has not been used for years. The windshield wipers kept on squeaking and made a very noisy sound as we drove.
The entire process was incredibly simple and quick. I personally had no issues with either location that I interacted with.
Helpful friendly staff, car met all my needs. I appreciated the reasonable cost and no hassles like some other rental companies.

The staff were amazing, the car was epic (large, safe, comfy, just what we needed), fuel efficient, good price.
Vehicle is way out of date. lack of CarPlay create some safety issue. seem like they are trying to milk every penny out of the car.
Communication was easy. Great staff at each end of our journey. Just a short wait for pick up at the airport. The car was tidy and reliable. We returned the rental to another airport without the huge relocation costs that other companies charge. Drop off at Queenstown was simple with a quick shuttle ride to the airport.

The Toyota Camry we booked for three weeks was a 2021 model with 65,000km for much less money than the big name car rental agencies, and for not much more than the dodgy agencies with really old cars and bad reviews. I spent SO many hours researching every agency that came up, like for weeks, it was SO depressing. Omega was the only one without bad reviews, including the big agencies AND they were a great price. I kept looking for the catch, but there wasn't one lol Because Omega is on the perimeter of Queenstown airport they can do better prices, but they are still a big professional organisation, with a new building and dozens of cars lined up ready to go. Like other similar companies they have a shuttle bus to take you to their lot and it was so worth sitting in a shuttle bus for a couple of minutes. All the cars on the lot were perfect condition late model vehicles. The friendly and professional Omega staff were ready for us and had all the paperwork ready to go. I didn't take their insurance because my travel insurance covered rental car excess insurance, but to my surprise and pleasure they didn't take a bond, which wasn't needed. The car looked new and ran perfectly. We got 5.5-6l/100km which was really good when petrol is NZ$2.80 a litre. Checking the car back in was smooth and quick, we were only there for a couple of minutes and they gave us a lift to Christchurch airport terminal 2mins away. So easy, such good value, I am recommending them to everyone. Yet another reason to go back to New Zealand :)
