We have worked with Charlotte at Mushroombiz on the HR side of things for some time now and our experience has been excellent. Charlotte adopted our tools and systems almost immediately whilst really tailoring the service to our business, which has been a game-changer. As a fast-paced and agile business, we needed our provider to be able to support us across a wide variety of situations that crop up day to day and at a fast-pace - Charlotte's vast knowledge of all things HR & rapid response time has made her the perfect fit for our business. We had been considering outsourcing our reception and telephone call handling for some time and the pandemic proved to be a very convincing catalyst. What we did not want was some automated system that answers calls with the dreaded “please press option 1 for XYZ etc” we wanted human beings to answer the call in our firm style and Mushroom has delivered. The transition to Mushroom was quite painless as they took the time to understand how we wanted the calls answered and to set the protocols in terms of what information to obtain from callers before putting them through to the relevant fee earners. We now have a “reception” which works really well with the new “off-site” phone system in place and is more cost effective then having a full-time manned reception/call handler in the office. The people at Mushroom are friendly and always take the time to understand how you want things done and do them well. We would certainly recommend them and once you have utilised their services, you will not look back.

I am so pleased I signed up to Mushroom's HR services, makes my life as a Director so much easier that certain parts of my responsibility are covered and I can run ideas through Mushroom before going ahead. They respond promptly, with concise, clear and helpful information. The customer experience is also fantastic, I enjoy my phone calls with Mushroom as they are always positive and friendly! Mushroom provided a free phone number and re-routing service to our community group during the COVID-19 lockdown, allowing us to provide support to vulnerable and elderly people in our town. We had a few issues setting up, but the support provided was excellent.

We have used Mushroom for a few years for our accounting support and they have always been excellent. I was massively impressed at how quickly Mushroom jumped in to support Community Help groups like ours at the beginning of this crisis. The helpline we were able to set up, with their help and support, has been central to everything we have been able to do to support our community. Their support when we have had the odd issue has been second to none. Considering they have provided this service to so many support groups for no financial gains whatsoever displays their integrity as a company and also the proactive approach they have to providing solutions. We're a Covid-19 Support Group and the support we've had from Mushroom has been incredible. We wouldn't be able to do what we do as well and as efficiently as we do without their services. We have a telephone line that community residents can call and be routed to the various ways we can help at the touch of a button, whether it be our food/supply bank, shielding shopping support or mental health advice. They've adapted to our evolving needs and always been responsive and helpful (often chasing me for the info they need so they can get it done sooner!).

I came across Mushroom when they were offering assistance during the current Covid-19 pandemic. As an admin for a local support group one of the issues we had was only having 1 phone line for the public to reach us. Mushroom talked us through a system they could offer via Zioper which would not only allow us to answer 5 calls at anyone time but also work from home which was safer and offered us voicemail too. They also provided us with guidance and assistance in drawing up a privacy policy which was another main concern we had. All their staff were were exemplary whether by email or phone and nothing was too much bother for them. We had a slight technical hitch with their solution during the first week which was solved within hours. And what is more they did all of the above at their own expense. A shining example of what you would want from any business and such a breath of fresh air that they were putting people and not profit first. I would not hesitate to recommend them in the future for any of your business needs.

Excellent service from the very experienced and knowledgeable team at Mushroom. During these times of uncertainty they brought a professionalism and calmness to their advice and service. They helped us through the daunting task of Furlough, supported our Accounting, HR and Legal side of things before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is a service I would highly recommend to any small business who doesn't have the budget for a full team to cover Accounting, HR and Legal requirements.
