The doctor I spoke to, was friendly and obviously had read about my past problems and seemed to understand i have a condition that won't improve and is variable from day to day.
the person i spoke to about my need for a wheelchair at work (i can't walk due to a known health condition) the person asked me strange questions about how i wash my private areas (i don't as a rule do this in my office) then the final report described me as "wheelchair bound" not a term a healthcare professional should be using in 2025. i don't trust they are trained in anyway as healthcare professionals, just someone on the phone with a script that had nothing to do with why i was referred to them.
Awful experience, interviewer had an accent so strong I could barely understand him, I thought it would get better as the assessment went on & I would begin to understand him but it didn’t. I had to replete things two or three times, interviewer kept pausing to read the questions from a scripted sheet. !!
The consultant listened intently to my situation and was very professional.all in all this was a very good experience.
The doctor was very helpful and explained how everything was going to be gone through in our meeting and asked me a lot of questions about my hip
