e respect and kindness we were given…

The respect and kindness we were given by all the staff were outstanding. There were times when we were overwhelmed with questions and legal issues,but Kara Mills was always there to answer whatever questions we had.She was the voice of reason and reassurance in the most difficult time. Both Kara and Tom were so professional and knew the legal answers which were needed for the issues in our case.They were the best choice we made to guide ,reassure and give us there excellent professional services at most difficult and emotional time ,we will be forever grateful.

The support you need at your time of challenge

I contacted Mary Monson at a time of need, having for my first time been arrested and facing criminal proceeding which would have huge impacts on my life / job. I spoke with Jamie & Tom, both who from the outset listened and didn’t judge. They have both been a massive support for me over the last 12-months from just someone to speak to at difficult times to diligently putting forward my case which thankfully has lead to all charges against me being dropped. They have also been honest and realistic with me on what outcomes could be. If you find yourself in the same situation get in touch with them , I genuinely think without their support I wouldn’t have got this positive outcome. Thank you Jamie & Tom!

I found myself in the most unfair and…

I found myself in the most unfair and unjust accusation relating to an occurrence 30 years ago. The way I have been treated by the Police and CPS throughout the process over a 3 year period has been unacceptable and unjust. I have not been given a voice or opportunity to receive fair and balanced hearings. My faith in the judicial system has been destroyed through poor Police investigation and what seemed like, at times, a corrupt process in the CPS. My solicitor (Nicholas Ives) and team around him at Mary Monson Solicitors supported me with the fundamental advice and experienced support to stand firm against what appears to be a dysfunctional legal system. Their experience goes beyond the norm providing sound, mature and strategic advice in an attempt to ensure that the process was kept factual and legal. More like a family than a business. Thank you to all of the team for your continued support and expertise.

Staff were very nice and professional

We recently used Mary Monson Solicitors for a case involving my son. We dealt with Lucy McWilliam for the majority of our correspondence, Lucy was very nice and always came back to us quickly if we had any queries. For the actual hearing we had Nicola Tyers representing our son, Nicola was very professional, she put a good case forward for us and we got the best possible outcome. We would definitely recommend.

Professional Support

At the most horrendous time of my life Nicola Tyers was a tremendous source of support, advice and representation. A example of professionalism - coupled with an invaluable patience that is very much appreciated at the most difficult of times. Would highly recommend her. Disclosure of all I asked for was never…

Disclosure of all I asked for was never completed. Failed to support me in court and sent a duty solicitor instead, twice, both times they did not have a grasp of my case Faulty equipment failing to hold its charge caused a breach of tag. Not a breach of bail, which I was advised to plead guilty to.. EMS we're not challenged regarding my 2nd tag being fitted at Formby leading to another court appearance for refusing to have a tag fitted. I never refused to have a tag fitted or a 2nd box fitted. There seems to have been a failure to address me being excluded from.the whole of Derbyshire until a different barrister dealt with my case. These are the main things I am not happy about. I would like to know why the prosecution dropped the case 3 weeks before trial date in October when the original trial date in Feb had been vacated. They had opportunity to drop the case then. Several cctv clips I sent seem to have been lost? But Jamie overall was really helpful.

Expert guidance from Thomas O'Brien that got the right result

Legal issues can be time consuming, distressing and complex for most people. At such a point last year, I found Mary Monson Solicitors. Right from the start, Thomas O'Brien was fantastic. I immediately appreciated the time and care he took while explaining the process, the situation, our options and what to expect. I also appreciated his forthright nature, practical approach to problem solving and attention to detail. I needed a solicitor whose judgement I could trust, and from the very first conversation I felt that I could trust his. As the case unfolded, Thomas continued to stay in close contact, providing excellent support, guidance and answers as required in a prompt and professional manner. Thomas took the management of a distressing situation out of my hands, making sure that we did everything we could to get the right result and that, to me, is invaluable. I can not stress how much it helps to have someone with the right expertise handle legal matters. It makes all the difference.
