The respect and kindness we were given by all the staff were outstanding. There were times when we were overwhelmed with questions and legal issues,but Kara Mills was always there to answer whatever questions we had.She was the voice of reason and reassurance in the most difficult time. I had to be interviewed by police when I was accused of a crime I did not commit. Thomas was assigned to my case and provided a service free of charge, and did an impeccable job. He reassured me and explained the situation very clearly, and gave excellent advice for the police interview. The case was later closed. I am incredibly grateful for the help Thomas gave me on behalf of Mary Monson Solicitors during that nightmarish time.

The advice, support and representation I received from Nicola and Jamie was first class and sympathetic.
I was made to feel extremely comfortable after my long time in custody by Nicola Tyres of Mary Monson solicitors who came to visit me in the morning, explained everything in a calm way, made me feel at ease when unsettled and was extremely helpful before, during and after interview. Not only this, Nicola Tyres kept up to date with me in my case during the year long period of my case and made me constantly feel at ease during this. Was very knowledgeable in the field and cared about my welfare during a turbulent period during this. Nicola Tyres kept me up to date with everything that was with my case, and took the time to care about my welfare. My outcome of this was successful, solicitor Liam made me also feel at ease during my time at magistrates and Nicola kept me calm before and during my time at magistrate court. I felt comfortable telling Nicola things about my case, and felt no judgment from her or Liam. Nicola was easily accessible via telephone and made the time for me also. If it wasn’t for Nicola during my time in custody or Mary monson being my solicitors I feel I would of panicked as it was my first time arrest and time in custody. When I visited in Swinton I felt comfortable and that staff was very polite and staff on the phone were extremely helpful also. If it wasn’t for Nicola Tyres, I felt I would I handled this process a lot worse, and the fact Nicola followed up after the case was very polite. I feel if there was another event in which I would need a solicitor or legal help, I would choose Mary Monson, they are also very easy to access via phone and email. I couldn’t have asked for a better solicitors at short term notice. Thankyou once again for my brilliant outcome. Liam was also very good during magistrates at explaining my circumstances and maintenance of confidentiality when other legal terms weren’t like this during this case, he was also very sensitive to my circumstances just like Nicola was. Which was explained well during my case in magistrates. Nicola and Liam was fantastic when I felt uneasy and reassured me throughout. They are an asset to Mary Monson Solicitor.
Nick Ives and Sara Longdon, did fantastic work in helping our son, who has autism and OCD. He had to appear in the magistrates court on two separate occasions facing different charges. It has taken two years for the case to reach the course and it has taken a heavy toll on my son's mental health. Nick and Sara moved the case forward and kept us informed all the way through the process. Furthermore, they cared about our son and achieved the best possible outcome given the circumstances. It is good to know that there are solicitors who are professional, knowledgeable and caring and I would highly recommend them to anyone facing criminal charges.
I was accused by the police more than 2 years long, which I didn’t know I was involved in a criminal activity. For the first two interviews the duty solicitor did not advise me well caused this case took so long and got charged in the end. I’m lucky found this firm. Liam completely stand by my side and gave me legal advise. Amazing Caitlin explained everything well and showed great understanding what I was going through, as I needed it very much due to my depression. It was the darkest period of my life, with their help by finding an amazing barrister Robert, now I can have my life back again. I strongly recommend this firm, they are professional and amazing personal service not just lead great result, but also make me feel comfortable to go through stressful trial.
Still awaiting a response to a complaint made 2 years ago. I now have filed a further complaint against Liam Kotrie. How this man continues to practice law is a mystery to me.
