e respect and kindness we were given…

The respect and kindness we were given by all the staff were outstanding. There were times when we were overwhelmed with questions and legal issues,but Kara Mills was always there to answer whatever questions we had.She was the voice of reason and reassurance in the most difficult time. Both Kara and Tom were so professional and knew the legal answers which were needed for the issues in our case.They were the best choice we made to guide ,reassure and give us there excellent professional services at most difficult and emotional time ,we will be forever grateful.

Sara Longden represented me when a…

Sara Longden represented me when a serous allegation was made against me to the police and I was invited in for a voluntary interview. I was really impressed by how much time and effort she put into the matter. It really stood out how many times she kept reviewing, tweaking and making the representations we made to the police as good as they could possibly be. Likewise she kept the pressure on and kept following up with the officer in charge over the many many months that the matter dragged out. The police agreed top "NFA" the matter after around 8 months.

Nasty accusation resolved fast.

From the initial contact over a very unfortunate and stressful case, Mary Monsons were outstanding and resolved the case fast. The clarity of expectation all the way through was very good and the team were very reassuring. From the first call with Emily Wilson, followed by a call with Caitlin Watson-Scoley, who were both extremely understanding and helpful, to the case handling by Nick Ives, I can't speak highly enough of them. Nick is clearly very experienced and was very accurate in his predictions. A huge thank you to them all. I would highly recommend them.

Very thorough and concise.

Personally my second time using Mary monsons solicitors, On both occasions they have been very thorough and respectful throughout, good communication and flexibility due to case and also personal circumstances. From arranging psychological reports to arranging all paperwork and representation on the day, all aspects very clear and concise. Achieved the best outcome possible for myself. I thank Millie, Shannon and liam for their thorough work and background work throughout my case. Very good service all-round. And if needed in the future, Mary monsons will be my first port of call.

Pre Charges

Found myself on the receiving end of a Pre Charge with ridiculous bail restrictions that can be extended considerably. It was hard finding a solicitor who had the appetite to defend my case ahead of potential court proceedings. On contacting Mary Monson Solicitors I was greeted by Emily Wilson who spoke to me in terms that I could understand and more importantly listened with empathy. Emily quickly arranged a video call with Tom O’Brian within 24hr. Emily always answered my calls and called back promptly with updates not leaving me to fester over my anxiety. Tom provided free advice initially and explained clearly everything associated to defence and costs. Tom always responded to any concerns I had, giving me the much needed confidence he was focused on my case. I opted for a fixed fee arrangement given the potential for pre charge extensions. If you are in a similar situation you should seriously consider this option to avoid hefty legal costs if prolonged. Ultimately I was issued a No Further Action ahead of my set bail review date and court proceedings. Having seen how my initial Duty Solicitor performed from another company I very much doubt I would be writing this review now. My wife and I are overwhelmed with the result which was all down to Mary Monson Solicitors and specifically Tom and Emily. Tom and Emily’s professionalism and real empathy was reassuring and would not hesitate appointing them again. Thank you so much. D Anon

Shannon English provided excellent phone and legal advice

Shannon English was extremely helpful at Mary Monson when I rang to get legal advice on a situation that felt very complicated to myself that I thought could not be resolved. stayed on the phone with me for over 20 minutes explaining and pointing me in the right direction. Even happily saying "if you still need further help ring back and I'm sure we can help you". honestly being my first time needing legal advice and being very scary at the time she made me feel very reassured and calm. through her advice the situation is sorted and I could not thank her more.

Exceptional defence of our case

My son was unjustly charged for assaulting a police officer. From early on, we knew that it was in fact he who was assaulted and that all involved in the prosecution were corroborating to build a nasty case against him, neglecting key evidence, giving false testimony, and hiding crucial CCTV footage. From the outset and given the nature of the case, I understood that we would need a defence of the highest caliber. Edd (my son) was understandably in deep shock at that time. I contacted four law firms but upon hearing Jamie’s and Sara’s approach and advice, the decision was easy: we HAD to hand this case to Mary Monson. This turned out to be absolutely the best decision! After advising us to willfully move the case from Magistrates' Court to Crown Court, Sara suggested we work with a truly brilliant and outstanding barrister, Mr. Paul Williams. The connection was immediate: from the meticulous preparation of the case, to the exceptional defence in court up until the NOT GUILTY verdict the level of competence and professionalism was truly magnificent.
