Pre Charges

Found myself on the receiving end of a Pre Charge with ridiculous bail restrictions that can be extended considerably. It was hard finding a solicitor who had the appetite to defend my case ahead of potential court proceedings. On contacting Mary Monson Solicitors I was greeted by Emily Wilson who spoke to me in terms that I could understand and more importantly listened with empathy. Emily quickly arranged a video call with Tom O’Brian within 24hr. Emily always answered my calls and called back promptly with updates not leaving me to fester over my anxiety. Tom provided free advice initially and explained clearly everything associated to defence and costs. Tom always responded to any concerns I had, giving me the much needed confidence he was focused on my case. I opted for a fixed fee arrangement given the potential for pre charge extensions. If you are in a similar situation you should seriously consider this option to avoid hefty legal costs if prolonged. Ultimately I was issued a No Further Action ahead of my set bail review date and court proceedings. Having seen how my initial Duty Solicitor performed from another company I very much doubt I would be writing this review now. My wife and I are overwhelmed with the result which was all down to Mary Monson Solicitors and specifically Tom and Emily.
