deplorable treatment by Fraud team

deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

C
0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years…

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

I love Lloyd’s bank

I love Lloyd’s bank, over the last 30 years have have belonged to a few different banks and still have accounts at other banks but for last 15 years I have found Lloyd’s has the most helpful staff, the best banking app by far. App is so easy to use, navigate and get what you want out of it, and good rates. NW & Barc easy enough but limited: NW you cant view bank statement, Barc app is very limited and eg contact me on app doesnt work, Revolut overload of features not simple navigating and an overload of marketing. What Lloyd stands for also appeals to me. Its been around since the 1700's. The natural green colour and horses used alongside the decor in the branches are always neat and tidy, with an presence of class.

Stay away from these incompetent…

Stay away from these incompetent people! They are lacking in every department, they have a answer for everything and don't take responsibility for their actions, if you are vulnerable etc be even more careful they will take even more advantage of you to their advantage and try to cause you to have a mental breakdown and will try their utmost to even push you to the point of suicide, they are ruthless! But these big banks have a free hand unfortunately to do as they please!!! They have no humanity or compassion or empathy, their words dont match their actions. Please people stay well away from them for your peace of mind and health. I don't leave reviews but this experience has compelled me to warn others about Lloyds bank credit card services.

Not perfect, but what is?

Not perfect but a good range of accounts and I've had few grumbles over 30 years. The app could do with a dark mode option but otherwise works fine. 6.25% on the Club Lloyds Monthly Saver is great for building up savings pots.

Don’t Join Lloyds!

Don’t Join Lloyds! On Tuesday the 22nd of October they suspended my account for sending money from my Lloyds bank account to my HSBC account. They’ve stolen £7000 from my account and have suspended my account. They won’t let me retrieve my money that I can show that I have legally worked for.

New app makeover

I have been Lloyds customer for 20+ years, I am not sure who signed off the new app , but visually it's absolutely horrid, the functionality isn't great either. Did you do any end user feedback or testing before releasing it? Are you going to check how many customers you've lost since implementing the new app?

Steer clear from Lloyds bank!

Steer clear from Lloyds bank! On Tuesday the 22nd of October I sent money from MY hsbc account to my Lloyds bank account. I then attempted to transfer the money back to my HSBC account and they suspended my account. I had been told to get my funds id need to go the local branch with photo ID. I went to the local branch and they said they can’t give me my money and id need to wait as they’re doing checks. They’re making me run around for sending money to myself. I’ve lost money and business customers due to their stupidity.

They are shocking.

They are shocking. I've been with them 31 years and they reduced my credit card limit from £3100 down to £500. When I asked why, they said it was the credit reference agencies. I joined all 3 agencies, Equifax, Experian and Transunion (at a cost of £84. All wrote that my credit score was excellent. I submitted a DSAR to Llloyds asking for all my data. They never even asked an agency about me. I closed all my accounts and went to Barclays, who gave me an instant £6500 limit without knowing me. I detest Lloyds.
