deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

They don't even deserve a single star They don't even deserve a single star. Ive been with this bank for 20 years and after having experienced a few fraudulent transactions on my account due to my own silliness, the bank put a block on my card and re-issued me with another card. First of all, they should have been more vigilant with the transactions that seemed dodgy. They honoured all of those transactions without a fuss and then when I raised the alarm, they blocked my card for transactions that were set by myself and declined every transaction from there on making my life very difficult. I raised a case with them, which took them 3 weeks to get back. I get a text from Margaret Littlejohn saying that she is handling the case and gave me her number and also said that she will try calling me. I waited all day but no call received, so I decided to call her myself only being fobbed off by an assistant passing a message on. Laughable really. Not only was my case unresolved, she fobbed me off by saying that my case is now redirected to the fraud team. Hello...all I want is normal business with all of my transactions. Its my money and I will pay who ever I want. Why make my life so difficult.

Lucky to have been given one star- only…

Lucky to have been given one star- only reason is because you cant give less. Been with Lloyds 30 years plus. Dreadful service, customer relations poor service, Transunion credit penalised because say I have only been on electoral register for a month when that is not the case. Have been trialling other banks and am about to shut my Lloyds account and cannot wait.

Great job Lloyds bank

Once again Lloyds Bank has saved me from being ripped off by a scam company. I made an online purchase from a company I have never used before pretending to be a British company but was in fact a scam based in China. I did a transaction dispute, and Lloyds did a charge back to my account, took a week but great result, thank you Lloyds bank dispute team 👏👍

So hard to believe

So hard to believe, I've been banking with them, Isle of Man, for almost 20 years. It's been over a month, I can't log in to my account. I've spent over $100 on calls to them and they are not fixing this. I'm amazed. I found an online complaint's form and after wasting 20 minutes filling it out, it doesn't work! No online communications like normal banks either. I'm going to have to fly there in person to close my account it seems. They want people to close their accounts. They are going about it the wrong way.

Commercial banking? At your peril. Better off jumping off a cliff!!! Complete and utter disgrace. Shame on you Lloyds for messing around small businesses. Shame on you!!

Have been with Lloyd's for 25+ years…

Have been with Lloyd's for 25+ years but in the past year have had unbelievably poor customer service. Took my Mastercard away for no reason. Shut my acct down. Gave me poor score with Transunion despite excellent with Experian. Won't give explanation. Am now switching banks and taking my money elsewhere.

No phone support after 6pm

No phone support after 6pm. Can't pay for a legitimate transaction after this time, lots of funds available, no reason for the decline, other than it potentially being marked as a fraud. Which I understand IF I can talk to someone to sort out. Can't speak to anyone. I work 8-6pm so opening hours rubbish. Very poor service in 21st century.

Save yourself the pain of terrible customer service and constant transaction declines

I would rather not have a bank account then use Lloyds. Customer support is as useless as a pull sign on a push door. Card declines 10/9 times and forget using it abroad. Just use NatWest or something else
