deplorable treatment by Fraud team

deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

C
0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years…

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

0 Stars! Extremely bad service. Be careful about choosing your next bank. I wish I had if readvthe reviews first. This bank should be shut down. If enough of us report them for the bad service we can achieve this.

I experienced issues with the automated telephone service, so was put through to customer services to pay a bank transfer. It took 2 calls.. The first time the details did not match even though they were correct. The operator was not helpful and decided to ring back. I was quizzed about internet banking which at this present time I do not want.. It is also listed on my profile, but was not adhered to. The details were matched and the transaction was processed in the end. If only the automated service was working correctly I could of avoided 2 stressful phone calls.

Rude customer service

Rude customer service, they also offer deals to new customers but when you ask about anything as an existing customer of over 10 years, they just par you off and give you rude responses.

A deeply disappointing experience at Lloyds Bank Loughborough Branch

I came in with a few old Bank of England paper notes and a damaged £10 polymer note. From the moment I stepped up to the counter, I was met with attitude and resistance. I explained that I had a Lloyds Online Savings Account, and the staff member responded with a condescending, “Oh yeaaa? Okay if you really have it,” as though I was lying. That tone alone was unacceptable—but it got worse. Instead of offering any proper support, they refused to help and handed me the wrong form—one meant for counterfeit currency, not damaged notes. No explanation, no assistance, just a brush-off. I left feeling not just frustrated but insulted. A basic understanding of bank procedures and a little respect for your customers shouldn’t be too much to ask. If Lloyds can’t even train their staff to handle legitimate Bank of England currency, or treat people with a minimum of respect, then perhaps it’s time to rethink where you bank.

Closed all my Lloyds Banking Group accounts as the service was becoming so poor. Now trying to get them to delete all my personal data under my "Right to erasure" which we're all entitled to, it's like wading through toffee! Now off to the ICO to complain against them. I suggest anyone that has left Lloyds searches "ask lloyds to delete my data"

3 years to pay £5 & £12

After 3 years of trying to pay for my overdraft charges (£5 & £12 on two closed accounts), calling multiple times, I finally paid it with the right department and was compensated £60 by their complaints department. Then, I waited approx. 3 months for Lloyds to remove mention of these charges from my credit score file.
