Absolute nightmare. We had to wait over 4 weeks for a response. Even the customer service agent was unable to proceed our claim because of the failing system. Extremely difficult to work with and their system 'locking things in' makes it nye on impossible to make changes to the claim. We were forced to re-do our claim because of a simple category choice. As we were unable to provide proof from an airline that we did not take a flight, even though it was cancelled, due to the airline being unresponsive, we were told the claim is not straightforward and we may not receive a refund. The process needs work, the online system was consistently failing for us - unable to input, unable to proceed, etc. Definitely do not get insurance with LeisureGuard unless you revel in painstaking claims processes. This is the worst experience I've had. It felt like the customer service agent did not know what or how to do anything - simple things like adding notes to the claim instead of recreating a whole new claim.

Too much repetition of questions, and spelling out almost each answer with phonetic alphabet (maybe a little understandable but VERY tedious.) Renewal quote sent by e-mail, but when rang to renew they quoted about £80 higher! They did allow renewal at quote price after I complained!!

I spent over 20 minutes just waiting for an agent...it's a total nonsense that any company trading via on-line and phones should offer such paltry service. It's either management failure or a deliberate ploy to make it seem they are busy. I can't give a reference number as I couldn't even get to the point of asking a few questions (not available on FAQ's) before buying.

Economic renewal of travel insurance, promptly and expeditiously

You renewed the policy though I had cancelled it 4 weeks prior to renewal and had both email confirmation and a text message to say it had been cancelled …. Your mistake caused all sorts of problems …. Your customer service agents are NOT helpful at all unless you are buying a policy ? Doubt if I will be back
