Absolute nightmare

Absolute nightmare. We had to wait over 4 weeks for a response. Even the customer service agent was unable to proceed our claim because of the failing system. Extremely difficult to work with and their system 'locking things in' makes it nye on impossible to make changes to the claim. We were forced to re-do our claim because of a simple category choice. As we were unable to provide proof from an airline that we did not take a flight, even though it was cancelled, due to the airline being unresponsive, we were told the claim is not straightforward and we may not receive a refund. The process needs work, the online system was consistently failing for us - unable to input, unable to proceed, etc. Definitely do not get insurance with LeisureGuard unless you revel in painstaking claims processes. This is the worst experience I've had. It felt like the customer service agent did not know what or how to do anything - simple things like adding notes to the claim instead of recreating a whole new claim.
