Don't waste your hard earned money for…

Don't waste your hard earned money for this service provider. I have wasted almost $8500. Couldn't complete the course due to personal circumstances. Literally requested them to refund me back but and it is been almost 3 months I keep them calling and mailing but not getting any response. Finally I have complained in Commonwealth Ombudsman and now they will look after it. If you really want to pursue your studies, there are lots of good and trusted education providers for whom you are not just the number.

Smooth wride with Learning People

So far, it is has been an amazing experience with Learning People. Already i have achieved two certificates successfully. The way they provide lessons, which is easy to understand for any student. Stutudent care team was always there for me, they are happy to help.

Good if you are just looking for qualifications and nothing else

The course material itself was really great and I’ve achieved my qualifications which is ultimately what I paid and set out to do. I found one particular member of the team really helpful and quick to reply - her name was Jessica, thank you Jessica! The rest of the team not so much unfortunately. When I first signed up to the course I was told I would have someone help me rewrite my CV/look at jobs etc but apart from the mention at the start no one contacted me about this at all throughout the duration of the whole year. I’m sure there was also meant to be some sort of benefits such as student discount? Again this wasn’t mentioned. While I could’ve reached out about these things myself if they were a priority for me (they weren’t luckily), given the cost of the course I think the team could have been more forthcoming with information and getting in contact with me. In terms of the exam booking process, this was quite fiddly. I don’t necessarily think the Learning People were at fault for this, more so the organisations providing the certifications. I did, however, find it extremely difficult to contact the Learning People to get my booking codes. The phone lines were always busy (I’d call different days and different times of the day) so I’d have to email. Usually I’d have to email twice. Overall, while I can’t fault the course material or online learning platform, I’m not sure I was able to get the most out of what was being offered. I’m sure this is partly down to me but the team were generally difficult to get hold of and didn’t reach out to me at all over the year unless prompted by an email.

Don’t even think of taking course with…

Don’t even think of taking course with the learning people. They are scammers. They will 300% support to join for the course. If you want to discontinue the course they will start to show their colours. They won’t let you cancel this course or force you to pay the fee. All they care about the money. Never even think of going of near learning people. None of them will support

Highly recommended learning platform

My experience with Learning People has been great so far, and I’ve already completed 3 out of the 4 Project Management courses I bought from them, and passed the respective exams at the first try. I’d like to thank everyone who I spoke with over the last year and who assisted me with the exams booking, starting from Alex Plummer who found the right courses path for me, then Charley, Shama, Christopher and Sara have been very helpful, responsive and professional. The courses and exams are well structured, and the preparation you can get for them is enough (I personally loved the PRINCE2 Foundation live classrooms, very useful to prepare for the exam), and the only note (not depending from Learning People) is that it takes long (1 week) to get the exam voucher. I highly recommend the Learning People as a great platform to get that extra knowledge and qualifications you have been seeking.

PMP Certification

I did my PMP through the learning people. I found them via LinkedIn learning and I am so glad I did. Jess as my learning officer was super diligent and always followed up on progress and was always encouraging. The course content provided through the percipio platform was excellent and course fees included membership to PMI as well as the exam cost and a back up 2nd exam if I failed. Fortunately I passed first time around! I would highly recommend the learning people for any certification or learning you are looking to do!

If you register there you will have to pay full payment ether you follow or not. No withdrawal option. Think before you sing the document.

Better Learn it online

I chose the Full Stack Developer course, so that I can get into the market. The gave me 2 learning material, which put me in confusion between learning material or code institute, then after a month I knew that I had a course to do with Code Insitute, I had deadlines, and the code institute weren't passing the projects, even though my projects were 99% okay, but they needed everything 100% perfect, and if you resubmit the projects they charged £50 everytime, even in the real life job market, your employer doesn't want you to be perfect. Making a CV was a nightmare, First I had to do my CV making sessions from CodeInstitute tutors, and then again with Learning People, Both had their own ways, but they left students in between. I am a father of 2 kids, paid my hard earned money for the course £7000 in one year, and after 1 year still have no job. Regrets ;( worst decision of life

I DO NOT recommend studying with the…

I DO NOT recommend studying with the learning people. Not a nice experience. I tried to cancel, and it has been an absolute nightmare and I am having to pursue other avenues to get this resolved. Couldn't even get a call back.

Straight Forward Career Paths, Great Support

Learning People is a great service, with its main selling points being accessibility, ease of use and a helpful support team. Learning People is open to everyone, They will tailor your course based on your experience level. I was allowed to start studying for my CompTIA A+ with no qualifications or experience in the IT industry. The platform for the learning materials is straightforward to understand with easy progression steps like benchmarks and end-of-module tests. So that you don't go into your mock exams blind. And the support team's quick responses mean you can always get help if you get stuck. You also have a 1 on 1 relationship with the team at Learning People. With frequent phone calls and emails to see how you are getting on. The only qualm I have for the course content itself would be the mock exams. For the most part, they are a very useful tool to prepare you for the real exam, giving you unlimited attempts to increase your score. However, after a few attempts some of the same questions appeared again, giving a sometimes biased score on the mock exams. Assuming I remembered the answers to the repeat questions. Despite this, I managed to pass both my exams first time. So I wouldn't say it made a massive difference. Overall, I would highly recommend Learning People's courses as they give an easy and accessible route to a job in the IT industry.

Started 13 March now 20 May 50% A+ Certified

Started 13 March and 2 months later I am halfway to getting A+ certified , passing core 1 today .Learning people so far have done what they say they're doing to do with a online platform and a personal online mentor to make gaining the foundational knowledge for your career choice much smoother . Since I got into the game, I've been assigned a learning mentor, Mikki Dumbrill, has been super helpful for the moments when I've felt lost . Any time I've uncertain or confused I've sent him an email and without failure within a relatively fast speed had an email back with either written guidance or questioning a good time for a call. Either way, all my questions at this point have been answered with realistic and easily understandable responses. Keep in mind ,if you are a serious person looking to chase after your potential dream job ,then you shouldn't have problems utilising this platform considering I work a full time job as a kitchen assistant , so far so good , based on my own experience . Big shout out to Mikki , he has been flawless.

Please report & warning for others

They are just good till you sign the documents. After that, they just worry about taking money either without giving any services. I enrolled in a course & didn't have a proper orientation. I request to withdraw from that course when I understand they are just looking at payment. Then they send it to debt collectors to take money without providing any service, just using good marketing people to convince people to sign doc to take money as they want. I’m taking this to NZ Disputes Tribunal. This is exploitation & unethical. I did not even have access to the course & register for any module or exam. If anyone else has the same, please take legal action & report this to government regulators to stop this financial misconduct. Hello There! It seems that you missed the Login issue email conversation that delayed my orientation; that day was the agreed-upon day for orientation. When it was rescheduled on your side, I was on Auckland flood case and then it into my vacation and was in Aussi had a communication issue. After that, I just received emails only reminding the payments. So, your organization just focus on the payments. Now, you asking to pay full payment with only unhappy orientation without concern that I have not enrolled on course Modules or Exam, just showing the contract terms asking to pay full payment. Is it fair? When I requested to withdraw, you not had any option just to pay full payment, you just use your unfair agreement terms. Student have to be careful before they sing your agreements if not without servic they just have to pay full payment as now your forcing.

Just Money Minded

I got enrolled for a course by paying 1000 NZD and then 3 payments of 550 NZD went from my credit card. Like anyone else I got enrolled in good intention to complete on time. But due to visa condition my card got blocked and I was never able to start my course as Learning People restricted my access. Then I lost my job and was unable to pay the instalment amount. As I have a family to take care with 2 girls, I requested Learning People to cancel my course. Then they came back and said they cannot cancel due to the contract condition. I even told them not to worry about refund but I am unable to make anymore payments. Now I am getting emails from an collection agency asking me to pay them. The original outstanding was 3950 NZD and now the collection agency is asking me to pay 4750 NZD. I got in touch with a person called LAZ who confirmed that I need to be dealing with the collection agency. So I have never started the course and secondary now they want me to pay for something that never used. LAZ came back and told me that I only had 1 year to complete the course. Learning People are just another business who is after our money. They come back on my emails stating they understand my situation. ME and my family is under tremendous stress and pressure from these agencies. These types of money making companies have to blacklisted. Even the big universities try to understand your problem and try to help you to sort out the issues but these online platforms are operating against all the humanitarian concerns. I will see what I can do from my end.
