Good if you are just looking for qualifications and nothing else
The course material itself was really great and I’ve achieved my qualifications which is ultimately what I paid and set out to do. I found one particular member of the team really helpful and quick to reply - her name was Jessica, thank you Jessica! The rest of the team not so much unfortunately. When I first signed up to the course I was told I would have someone help me rewrite my CV/look at jobs etc but apart from the mention at the start no one contacted me about this at all throughout the duration of the whole year. I’m sure there was also meant to be some sort of benefits such as student discount? Again this wasn’t mentioned. While I could’ve reached out about these things myself if they were a priority for me (they weren’t luckily), given the cost of the course I think the team could have been more forthcoming with information and getting in contact with me. In terms of the exam booking process, this was quite fiddly. I don’t necessarily think the Learning People were at fault for this, more so the organisations providing the certifications. I did, however, find it extremely difficult to contact the Learning People to get my booking codes. The phone lines were always busy (I’d call different days and different times of the day) so I’d have to email. Usually I’d have to email twice. Overall, while I can’t fault the course material or online learning platform, I’m not sure I was able to get the most out of what was being offered. I’m sure this is partly down to me but the team were generally difficult to get hold of and didn’t reach out to me at all over the year unless prompted by an email.
