Pathetic service and chindhichor people,dont even know how to do a business.Liers are sitting in their customer service team and making false promises to people.Store manager is even more pathetic than the customer service people.Would never recommend them to anyone and will also spread it in all my groups and also let people know in my circle who buy the stuff from them

They sent me a bad product. The pan had layers coming off. I sent them pictures and called them several times. Worst part is the ey did not even bother to respond or callback. Will never be ordering from them again.

I have ordered fresh fish - sardine .It's mentioned as cleaned fresh fish but received the fish without cleaned totally disappointed.Wouldnt recommend for fresh product.

Unreliable service! Order came 2 days after the date confirmed on the order placement. I got several phone calls to let me know that some of the items were not available. Yet they were still advertising the items on their website. Had I known they could not fulfill the order, I would have ordered from another company. When I complained, I got a brief email that did not address my complaints. Obviously, they don't care for their customers. Quality of items (mangoes in this case) was split and bruised. I was beyond wasting my time complaining to them as they are just not interested! Be prepared to not get all your items and get poor quality on those items you do! Terrible!

I ordered items on their website.Next day received call from the store stating 3 items not available and will not be able to refund and compelled me to buy something else which I don't want. They want to sell the items they want,not the items which I ordered.

Horrible customer service, ordered fresh fish which was to be delivered on a certain date which never happened. Then finally they courier it and the courier is delayed due to DPD issues. Ultimately when received it was all smelly and leaky. I had called them when DPD said it is delayed and they did say that it is highly likely that the parcel will be spoilt due to delay but when I received it it was smelly without any ice pack. They refused to listen saying they wanted me to wash the fish and try it and there is nothing they can do. Opening the box itself emitted a foul smell in the kitchen and they wanted me to open the packs and take pictures. Ultimately I refused to do that as the smell was rancid and rotten. Will never purchase from them. Every person you speak to gives different and contradictory message which is clear they don’t want to refund the exorbitant charges they charge. They are nothing but fraudulent business who cheat their customers.

Ordered goods £101 and £4.49 for small onions , orded few frozen foods with temperature controlled packing for extra cost end of the day the frozen foods were inedible when we received it as all went soggy , didn’t receive the small onions as well so asked for refund for small onions and inedible frozen foods , got a call today saying will refund for small onions but not for inedible frozen foods , so told them this will be last order Ordered on 21august and delivered on 23rd august

They collect weekend additional delivery charges, but never deliver. I did not receive my my order with delivery date 18.06.2023 till date. They are replying with default answers without trying to understand or resolve the exact issue.

Great service. Ordered some hard to source Mangoes on Weds. Quick and easy process and low cost delivery. Arrived on Friday before lunchtime exceptionally well packed and in good condition. I see loads of bad reviews but I have to say this service is some of the best I've ever had! Will use again if needed.

I ordered Tata Loose Tea and because of the bank holiday I was not expecting my parcel quickly. I was pleasantly surprised when it was delivered on Sunday 28/5/2023. Excellent service - thank you.

They don't check the items before dispatching, fruits are moldy and rotten.

Constantly refused to send return label for pressure cooker which was too small even though i offered to buy bigger one!!!

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Order placed 4 days before 11th Jan for Pongal on 15th Jan and reaches after the festival. Nobody to answer the phone and raise concerns and no response. All the items are spoilt because of your delay. I have sent email to not deliver the goods and issue a refund. No response to this either. I didn't have a chance to rate less than this else would have.(order no LSN38734)

Delivery not arriving at the stated time. Unhelpful customer service Deliberately cut off calls when you call to chase up Refusing cancellation and refund among may other things Keeping customers in the dark Not calling back to inform what is going on as promised ect ect

Very worst customer service. I ordered chicken which is supposed to be delivered today but hoping to be delivered tomorrow. Called customer service and got unhelpful reply. I have been ordering from Lakhsmi stores for some time and this is my third worst experience. Everytime the frozen items are delivered in spoiled condition. Even when I call customer, they simply ignore it or give rude and unhelpful reply. Definitely not recommend this store for sure. You lost a customer! That's it.

The frozen product I order arrived fully defrosted and was unusable as not anylonger safe to use from a health perspective. The defrosting was due to the store not even closing the temperature control bag, which you have to pay extra for, so had nothing to do with the time it took to deliver but only with the negligence of the store making sure the products are packed to a minimum standard. I tried to solve the issue with the store but first they ignored and did not answer for a week, then I got a rather unhelpful reply that they need more time to find a solution, another week without communication goes by at which I write them again and only get a rather impolite reply of they do not refund frozen products. The mistake was made on the stores side and they blandly refuse to rectify their mistake nor acknowledge it.

Please avoid buying from this shop. They say new stocks arrived on their website& adds but they sell very old stocks and they don’t respond for your complaints and enquires. Very bad experience for me ., Ordered snacks for Diwali on 22.10.22. They mentioned special sweets coming from india for the Diwali , so I ordered few snacks and sweets and I received all old stocks (D.O.M in April22 ) which smells really bad and you cannot give it to your kids and friends who came for Diwali. We just put them in the bin. When I raised the complaint with their customer care , they simply say it is not reached its expiry date. So it can be consumed. Not one pack all the packs are old. and the sweets are hard and crumbled. Waste of money and frustration over the festival.

I purchase from Lakshmi stores on a regular basis. Mostly once every 3 months or so. However my last purchase with them was the worst experience I had. Possibly my own fault for purchasing something like mangoes from them. I had purchased mangoes (BANGANAPALLI mangoes. Order number LSN29200 . It was 4KG mangoes for 23£) The quality of mangoes was fantastic. Given the good experience, I placed another order with them for 2 boxes of mangoes. Order number LSN30367. This time the cost was the same but the quantity was less. it was 3KG for £22.99. Some positives about the store - Always used to send things on time - Great response - Great packaging. About order LSN30367 - Since they reduced the quantity, the previous time it was 4 kg (12 mangoes in a box) vs 3kg (9 mangoes in a box). what this meant was there was space within the box for the mangoes to move about. Both boxes had free space and the mangoes were not tightly packed. - The mangoes were over ripe which meant most of the mangoes were broken and started leaking and rotting because of the transportation. Consequence: I had 18 mangoes with me of which nearly half of them were rotten/damaged and the other mangoes were so ripe that they all had to be cut up immediately on the day of arrival. If they had arrived another day late because of any reason we would have lost them all. I complained to the store about this and gave them photo evidence of the same. Reason: I spent 46 pounds on mangoes and if they were off season/ over ripe , they should not have sent it to me. They could have just said its over ripe and I would have cancelled the order. It just looked like they wanted to get rid of all the stock they had. When I contacted them first, I got an apology letter and that I would be given a resolution soon. But after that they just decided to keep silent. Long story short : I do not think I am going to purchase from here again.

Just got a box of rotten mangoes from Lakshmi store. The customer care asked for a million photos and did not process a refund. Very shoddy service. Stay away from them

Very poor service and delivery of items. Few of the items were missing for which i repeatedly asking for refund and they didnt respond. Quality of mangoes were very poor. It was rotten from inside. I will not recommend it to anyone
