I was trying to buy an apartment with them, and initial price was 3600. They have failed to proceed with the deal inventing more documents than sellers solicitor could provide and changed me 8000 in the end. I had power of attorney for my brother who passed away in August 2023. He had learning difficulties and since he was 62 had carers coming 3 Times a day . But in fact his learning difficulties go back to childhood born in 1950, when there was no existing catagory . It's been a fight all his life to give him his dignity because he was misunderstood. With sorting out his documents After his death ,I went to Knights in Bristol where I was well received by Jennifer Windsor and Abigail Harding . Unfortunately , Jennifer fell ill and a team in Portsmouth took over the work , for me it was difficult as it seemed like I had to start again from the beginning. But in that team who were very professionnal I thank them all , I would like to make special mention for Amanda Paadekooper, who I consider was exceptionnal because there were moments when the paperwork didn't go smoothly and I got upset and she remained calm and composed and always listened , and was kind , and in her work was very professional , I always felt she knew what she was talking about . Ellie Mae Cocker was another in the team I would like to mention for her quality of work . It's a unique moment losing a loved one who has needed special attention . With the team in Bristol and then in Portsmouth I met people of quality in their work and it won't be forgotten, if needs be I'll go back to Knights, but with a particularly exceptionnel thank you to Amanda Paadekooper. Knights took on the purchase of our new house at very short notice after the failure of our previous solicitor. Within 48 hours they had progressed our purchase more than our previous solicitor had done so in months. Tianey and her team have been exceptional throughout. Sammie Clegg at Knights acted for us when we bought our first home in Oxford in January. She was excellent throughout every stage of the process, and helped us to ensure our sale went through within 6 weeks.
