IWC Probate and Will Services

I am living in Canada and was trying to transfer stocks from my late husband's estate into my name. Computershare required a Medallion Signature Guarantee, which was not available here in Halifax. IWC to the rescue! They were very responsive and extremely helpful in getting this transfer made. I chose the Premium Service just to make it easier and quicker, and I think that was a wise decision. My contact at IWC answered all my emails very quickly and completely. I would highly recommend this firm.

I have had a very traumatic few years, losing 2 brothers and a sister in law and having to deal with their estates and complex legal issues. I used Dawn Williams of IWC for the probate and also their connections for selling the properties. I honestly can’t praise her enough. Not only was she outstandingly professionally, explaining all the procedures along the way, but she was very compassionate and understood the trauma I was going through. She communicated with me all the way and was always at the end of the phone, even during the pandemic. The probate and cases were very complex, with the Wills having mistakes in them and having to get affidavits etc and I couldn’t have done this without them. I felt not only was my case being handled to a high professional degree but that my hand was held through it all. I can’t recommend IWC enough - 101%.

IWC had originally helped my late mother with her Will and when she sadly passed away, as executor, the burden seemed rather large at a difficult time and IWC took all of this away from me as an additional service. Lucy Pellatt took all of this on and also dealt with a difficult family issue around the Will with such efficiency and skill; I could not have done it all without her! I cannot thank Lucy enough, she was a total superstar! I highly recommend IWC, they have been fantastic throughout it all.

I had a requirement to sell some USA registered shares and approached IWC to undertake this on my behalf as the process/paperwork seem quite involved. Loren from IWC provided all the documentation to be signed and kept me informed throughout the process. Overall this took about 2 to 3 weeks even in COVID times, so a very efficient and effective service.

Very professional , excellent service

I cannot rate IWC highly enough and in particular Loren Jarvis who has helped me on two separate occasions. In my opinion 5 stars are not enough praise for the service I have received. I used their services in relation to shares held in my late mother’s name and the sale of those shares and the claiming of back dividends and all the red tape that went alongside it all. It involved dealing with Computershare in the USA on one instance and Computershare in Jersey on the other. I was filled with horror on both occasions at what I was confronted with. Loren was a calming influence, she took all my worries away, she was professional efficient, kind and understanding, nothing was ever too much trouble. She kept in touch with me, constantly keeping me updated throughout. Everyone I have had cause to speak to at IWC has been courteous and polite. What a professional and efficient company they are and most certainly, I am a fuss pot with high standards. Thank you to you all.

Excellent quick service

I have been impressed by my dealings with IWC. Most of us are somewhat in the dark when it comes to 'setting our lands in order', concerned at not making unwise judgements or fatal, expensive mistakes. The pack for use by the Executor was an unexpected plus.
