Another falsehood. They tell me I will save gbp250 per year by paying the cheapest available price for an electricity only deal they offer me but the unit kwh rate and the daily charge are both higher than I currently pay so how will this deal save me money? Answer IT WONT. so don't believe anything they tell you is my advice. Got this via Money Saving Expert, so same applies to them! Useless both of them!
Speedy & helpful email response to a problem submitting metre readings on line. Only loses a star because of the problem with the website making the enquiry necessary in the first place.

This company is great for customer service and has the cheapest tarrifs going. For a relatively small company they are very good compared to the larger energy supplier. Very quick to resolve any issues that arise. My Gas Smart meter had stopped sending readings and stopped connecting to my smart display. I had multiple previous suppliers who said it was a network issue and there is nothing further that could be done to fix the issue and even said a new meter would not fix the problem. Switched over to home energy and they were willing to send an technician to replace the meter and guess what its fixed the problem. Also home energy records meter readings from the smart meter on a daily basis while most other suppliers pull the reading infrequently. This is great when the price cap changes as you get accurate readings as they pull readings daily. Most other suppliers do not do this and if they do not pull the reading on the day the price cap decreases then you end up with estimated billing. with Home energy this never happens and it is always accurate bills as they collect meter readings on a daily basis. The only area for improvement is maybe a usage tracker on their account.
When I originally did a quote from Home Energy they were the cheapest so I took the deal only for the deal to change on my first direct debt. Then I gave my second month of meter readings in march and the account never updated so I was not able to keep a track on my usage or credit. Now I have gone to a new energy supplier after just a couple of months of being with them and when I ask for my final meter readings to be updated I never get a reply I have sent between 3-5 messages and nothing so I will never return no matter how good of a deal they offer in the future.
Extraordinarily poor customer service. Pick holes bury head in sand fob off etc etc but not do anything to resolve long standing issue 5 months after I joined. Thankfully I have no exit fees so once the forthcoming Ombudsman escalation is concluded, and adequate compensation credited to my final bill, I will very happily move to a Supplier that is both competent and customer focused!
Ben, Roger, and James from Home Energy Save came and input some damp channels. They took the upmost care to ensure that was very little damage done. And when they completed, the clean up job was so good that you couldn’t tell that any work had taken place. Overall, a friendly group who took the time to explain clearly what the process was going to entail. They even took some time to provide some suggestions on what could be done to further to prevent future damage caused by rain.
