Another falsehood. They tell me I will save gbp250 per year by paying the cheapest available price for an electricity only deal they offer me but the unit kwh rate and the daily charge are both higher than I currently pay so how will this deal save me money? Answer IT WONT. so don't believe anything they tell you is my advice. Got this via Money Saving Expert, so same applies to them! Useless both of them!
Speedy & helpful email response to a problem submitting metre readings on line. Only loses a star because of the problem with the website making the enquiry necessary in the first place.

I have since left home energy but have now had the experience of their customer service which has made me glad I’m not with them anymore. I have had to chase them for my final statement and refund despite having left them in February. Having found a discrepancy in the meter readings they have been dismissive about correcting this stating it’s a minute discrepancy and other customers would not make a big deal out of this something I’d never dream of saying to anyone in a cost of living crisis. They also gave the wrong meter readings to my new supplier which then led me to having to correct them. I will never use them again or recommend them. I imagine this is how they are making money off people who don’t realise they are still owed money by not getting final statements and refunds and also by skimming off the ‘minute’ discrepancies. It is still my money and no doubt if I owed anything they would want it paid to the penny.
Have been with Home Energy a while now & although all electric seems expensive these days Home Energy seem competitive compared with company I switch from being Octopus. I have been experiencing financial difficulties for the last few months but have found Rhea In customer services to be very understanding
HomeEnergy is a good company of electricity. I am currently paying much less than in any other of the competitors. I believe this company keeps a very low overhead to ensure they always get competitive prices. Epic and highly recommended
Switched from EON to Home Energy based on price, the transfer was simple and completed within 14days. Communications with HE have been very good and they have always been able to help with sometimes obscure queries that I raise. Pricing is excellent (Compared to other suppliers) I couldn't give them the 5th star for the following reasons. 1) They can't read smart meters so back to the old days of manual submission and estimates. 2) The Account management within the website is very basic, however I do notice a few upgrades have been made in the past couple of months which is great, just a bit more work to do. I would like to see a drill down on the account balance that shows, credits and debits for easier reconciliation. In summary, Im a happy customer who has already recommended them to other people.

In November, I attempted to switch my energy supplier from EON to Home Energy. This decision has since evolved into an incredibly stressful ordeal. Despite it being nearly March, only my gas supply has successfully transitioned, yet I find myself in a perplexing situation where both companies are billing me for both gas and electricity. Communication breakdowns are evident, as neither company is willing to engage or assist in untangling this confusion. I am faced with the unreasonable predicament of being invoiced for the same services by both providers, effectively paying double. I strongly advise against engaging with these companies, as their lack of professionalism and customer support has been glaringly apparent throughout this process.
