Extremely disappointed with Halfords' home delivery service. My order is now 3 days late and counting from the "on or before" date quoted at checkout with zero updates or tracking to let me know what's going on. Still just on the 'preparing your delivery' stage Tried to chase it up both through live chat and call, only to find there's no proper way to escalate without waiting another 3 days after submitting an initial complaint. Call centre staff were generally polite and empathetic, but ultimately didn't follow through on anything they promised, repeating there was nothing they could do except leave extra notes on my case and trying to nudge me off the line. As the customer, you can't contact the logistics team directly, so you're left completely in the dark with no real updates. In the end, I had to cancel the order and sort it myself by collecting the item from a different shop. An unnecessarily frustrating experience from start to finish. Will avoid at all costs in the future. Ironically, when trying to cancel the order because of the above, it was said that its too far along the dispatch process to stop it now, despite not even having a courier number yet. So I just have to wait for it to needlessly be delivered to my house just for me to refuse it.

Contacted customer services answered in India saying yes out of stock refund coming Here were are 17 days later no refund no bike no apology Will be reporting to Trading Standards and ASA, bike is still advertised for sale today! Clearly selling items that do not exist! SHOCKING SCAM for such a formerly reliable company DO NOT BUY FROM HALFORDS ON LINE
Paid £600 up front to get a sph 77 dab (pioneer) fitted. Fitting started today, 2 hours in, said the wrong fitting cables had been sent. Then said because sub woofer has an amp, they couldn’t fit at all.!! Reconnected my old unit that now has incorrect times on sat nav and dash. Went back twice and still not correct. Wasted 8 hours in total today!! AVOIS AT ALL COSTS!!!

Enquired about an Engine diagnostic test today…bloke on reception said they were mega busy but would as one of the technicians…with in minutes he said he could do it straight away…20 minutes later he had found multiple fault codes!!!! He didn’t charge me anything!!!! Can’t thank the Harrogate team on Ripon Rd enough…brilliant customer service!!!!!!

Excellent customer service by Alex at your Shoreham branch. Alex went above and beyond finding the correct colour match we were looking for. Additionally to this, move the industrial fan to ensure I stayed cool in the heat Above and beyond customer service. Thank you
