Halfords Barnsley Corton wood store - Matt..... After having a ratchet 1/4" fail and the tool being 2 yrs old but used just a couple of times, I contacted the online chat screen with a so say technical specialist.... absolutely no help or of any use to obtain a spare part to repair the tool.... advised to go back to another store after visiting a store and told to contact via online help. Rang customer services who tried to help myself... after a long conversation about what the tool actually was/is, I was told to contact Euro car parts for the replacement part.... explained again that this is a tool not a car part, when the lady at the other end of the line asked myself ... so what is a ratchet? Resorted to asking at the Barnsley Corton Wood store - MATT, I asked the question if he knew of how to get a spare repair kit.... to cut a long storey short, he pulled out all the stops to find the details of the tool original supplier (Halfords Professional branded tool) and when this failed he said he would find out and ring myself back. He was good as his word and phoned the next day, he couldn't help on a spare part, but, as customer good will sorted the situation and I left a very happy customer. In short... Halfords chat bot and customer services were a waste of time and effort, but the store and Matt came through to rectify the situation and retain a happy customer.

Midsomer Norton Branch - Yet again left standing at the "click and collect point" being ignored buy the staff. This is now the 3rd time this has happened. Staff just walk by whilst you stand there, Customer service really needs addressing at this branch, esp if the click and collect point which is clearly marked, is not being used. I'll take my business elsewhere is future. 3rd time lucky sadly not achieved. They not only shut early, which has happened to me before, but ignore you when you've ordered online. Why have a click and collect point, MOVE THE SIGN or take it down. SIMPLE.
